The main thing about this business other than it's impressive catalog of materials was the sheer niceness of its owners. At Myra's General/Rusty Antiques, my mother went looking for a magnet to represent Valdese. When they couldn't find exactly what she was looking for, the store owners just literally gave her another magnet for no charge. They had already offered us a bottle of water when we walked in the door. Valdese is definitely the nicest place I have ever been in my life!"
