Whispering Pines Fish Farm 11829 Matteson Corners Road, Holland, NY 14080

"I never pictured writing a review about a fish farm, but here I am... We have a pond that needed some Grass Carp. We were approved for a DEC permit and looked into the locations from which we could purchase. Whispering Pines came up as an option and the strong reviews made it the choice for me. The farm is located in Holland, New York. They are located in the general proximity of the speedway. The address takes you to a reddish house with an attached office off the the left. I was redirected to the next drive up the street where I was told someone would meet me. I took the winding road back to where there is a large building (pole barn) and a turn around.. I "turned around" facing the direction I just came from and within 30 seconds Steve rolled up in a golf cart. Steve (the owner) is extremely knowledgeable and helpful. I am a novice and soon came to find out that there is a lot of to ponds / fish. We completed the paperwork and I went home with some fish (brought a big cooler) and homework for the next time we need fish. The fish provided were active and hopefully they do the trick. Steve also provides fish to many of the other places on the DEC paperwork, so why not buy from the source! They have different size Koi, giant snails, trout, bass, perch, cat fish, crayfish, minnows, plants and fish food too."

We stocked our 1/2 acre pond with bass, perch and grass carp. He also provides crayfish and minnowforas feeder fish as well as fish food."
