Reviews
"Only played disc golf there but the course is mediocre. 4 good outside holes but the 5 in the woods are no bueno."
"Referred to by our family as the tire swing playground, I can see folks visiting this park and finding it cute, quaint and perfect or... unimpressive, buggy and missing the mark. I think it depends on your attitude going in. The trails surrounding the park are more walking paths with geocaches connecting the disc golf course (not what I'd call a true hike) the kids love seeing the fish and turtles go after left over crumbs in the pond. The bathroom facility needs better lighting, but hey there's bathrooms (seasonally open) a blessing . The park rangers are good about visiting (it'd be rare that if we are there for a few hours they don't pull in) there have been a few times where we've noticed misguided teenagers, the smell of pot, shenanigans but nothing that overly would worry me from a safety issue."
"Great place to bring our dogs. They love this park. And especially the playground. There are trash cans, so you can throw your dogs poopy bags away. Never crowded"
"First Responders Park is a cute little park with an open field of goal posts, playground equipment as well as a walk out dock to enjoy the fish turtles! We didn't notice this place was so close until I drove by it yesterday. It has some walking paths off the park, Frisbee golf, and public restrooms. The only thing I wish I had brought with me was fish food or some bread for the turtles! Today, there was a huge snapping turtle that kept making an appearance while the fish followed us along the dock. I'm looking forward to my next visit already!"
"It's got a nice little disc golf course but the layout has changed and Udisc +some of the signage needs major updates. It can get very mosquito filled so make sure to bring bugspray. Also don't go into the pond barefoot or let dogs play in it. I pulled out half a can (that I also found on the pond) of nails with my magnet in just 15 minutes."
