The View at 5010

"If I could give zero stars I would. Highly recommend NOT MOVING HERE. The apartment they have on display looks good but the apartment I lived in had patched up holes throughout the whole apartment. Vehicle break ins almost every other night & when I called to inform them they said they don’t have cameras and they have an officer who patrols all night which is a lie & for me to just file a police report. Maintenance takes forever to do the work orders. The people in the front office never answers the phone and when they do they always have attitudes. These apartments need updates for all money they charge for rent and cameras need to be put for the throughout community, oh and let’s not talking about the nasty breezeways that they never have cleaned. DONT MOVE HERE."

"In the 4 years I have lived at The View at 5010 I have seen so many people come and go. The one person that has stayed with us and always care for the community, has been Kenneth Mathis the property manager. When I needed my AC fix, Kenneth put his maintenance hat on and came down to fix my AC. I have always seen Kenneth helping maintenance on the property. I can summarize Kenneth Mathis in one word “Superman”"

"I lived here from April through December of 2022. It’s doable but not desirable. 5010 is one of those places that you kind of just get in, stack up for something better then get out. Maintenance can take months to respond to requests. Management changed during my time there but not necessarily for the better. The apartment itself was dated. It didn’t have ceiling lights in the living room or bedroom. I had chipped paint that was painfully obvious, water stains on the ceiling, the caulking job in the tub was poor and I had an issue with ants coming through for a while. The cabinets were also fairly small and wouldn’t hold much. The workout room was unkempt. Only 2/4 dryers worked while I was there. On the flip side, the pool area is nice although the pool itself could’ve been cleaned more frequently. Again, it’s doable but not desirable. It served its purpose. S/N: If you are thinking of moving here, I’d recommend a building that’s not near University Parkway because it can get rather loud."

"I have lived at the View for a year and a half now and I have been very satisfied. I am a college student and live in a one bedroom with my dog. The front office is always very helpful and maintenance tends to come pretty quickly. The apartments are a bit older, but well kept. The pool is great in the summer with great chairs, pergolas, and gas grills!! The gym could use some upgrades though. Overall, I really like living at the View!"

"I moved to these apartments in October in one of the most devastating parts of my life thinking this would be the start to a new book in my life . Instead it was just another chapter in the same book !! Living here has been a nightmare. Nothing gets done . Everything is constantly breaking due to previous patch work and The leasing staff is less than satisfactory moreso the management is in dyer need of change. These apartments aren’t worth the price you’ll end up paying every month . And they are unwilling to work with their tenants to come up with solutions to fix very serious issues but instead makes countless excuses and blows smoke to get you off their case . I am currently in the process of moving out before my lease because I’ve had ENOUGH !!! If you can GO SOMEWHERE ELSE !"
