"It was neat to see all of the different pieces of art for sale in the house! They are all very beautiful and you can tell that the artists are very good at what they do. Most of the pieces of artwork I saw were priced from about $20-$200."
"Sad to see that the Parks Dept has reclaimed much of the space at the Manor. The NC artist guild has been squeezed into a small niche. I came to see the art and the beautiful setting. The setting is lovely, but the space is sorely missing the art which was always inspirational. Very disappointing."
"What a nice center to display the crafts of local artists! The drive is beautiful and the views can be spectacular. The old house looks like it fell out of "Gone With The Wind." It needs a little maintenance, but still makes a beautiful statement with the white columns against the green of the countryside. The items for sale are a bit on the pricey side, but are very nicely made. There are many things that I'd love to have from the jewelry to the housewares. For now they'll have to wait, but I'm in high hopes of "someday....""
