"This was the first time we stayed here, we reserve the king room. We showed up. Went to our room for the first time and walked around to make sure everything was clean, when to the bathroom and it looks like somebody half clean the bathroom. There was hair still on the toilet from the previous people so they didn't even clean the toilet or the bathroom. The Ottoman chair had a stain on it that looked disgusting. I'm spending $100 a night, I expect the room to be clean so I went downstairs and they had nobody to clean the room so I asked for a new room which was very accommodating. They did get me immediately into another room without issue. But I shouldn't have had to do that. The room should have been cleaning the first place. The hotel definitely seems a little rundown but they're holding a good face."

"This is a great hotel, which, in my opinion, is made exceptional by the wonderful staff that run it. Both Ashley at the front desk and the GM Joe were so kind and helpful to my elderly mother during her lengthy stay here. They take the time to care for guests, not just in regards to their hotel stay, but all around, making for a friendly and supportive environment. They make you feel valued and appreciated. We certainly will stay here anytime we are in the Crossville area, and fully recommend the Holiday Inn Express & Suites of Crossville!"

"The room was clean and the staff was friendly. The beds are not comfortable at all. There needs to be an upgrade done to the hotel. The so called breakfast is awful. Just have a better rate on the rooms and leave off the breakfast."

"“One person on duty 2nd shift” per note at entry. That person is sitting in breakfast area drinking a soda, watching tv, and using smart phone. After check in, no one answered phone at front desk when I needed change of pillows from down feather to non feather content due to severe allergy. I called 5 times over a 30 minute period. Not sure if this is a management problem or an employee issue. This is Convenience store level service. As a handicapped person, I wheeled down to front desk. Poor girl at desk had many people in line to check in. She needed help. I needed help. After getting pillows from girl at front desk, I had difficulty carrying pillows to my 3rd floor room while using my wheeled device. No more Holiday Inn stays for me—After 28 years of dedicated use of HIG properties. It’s a shame. HIG has fantastic and convenient locations"
