"This store maybe deserves one star just because the clothes are nice! Are you all trying to get rid of your brick and mortar stores???? It's a very unpleasant experience from the moment you walk in!! As a customer you're made to feel like you're intruding!!! What happened to Humanity and being Kind??? You must pay your employees low wages to feel so disgruntled to be at work!!!! I wanted to tell them why are you being so rude! Instead, I acted nice to them, but it didn't really help their attitude!!! What a shame used to totally love this store!!!! Also used to spend loads of money here!!! Guess you want to file for bankruptcy, so that's why employees act in this unprofessional manner!!! Some classes on Customer Service need to be implemented immediately if you want to keep brick and mortar stores!!!"
"Entered the store at 4:30pm on November 5th — employees behind the register didn’t speak. I assumed it was because they didn’t see me so I walked straight to the back toward the holiday pajamas .. passed the register, browsing and comparing online prices. 5 MINUTES LATER I left. Nobody ever spoke or asked if I needed help. Very unpleasant experience — did not feel welcomed."
"There is no space for a ZERO STAR or that’s what I would have put. This is by far the very worst customer service I’ve ever in my entire 62 year life have experienced. My order is late. Customer service asked me 4 times for my order number then tracking number. Then I was told I had no order at all. I will never buy another item from this store. I understand it’s Christmas and workers are scares, but there is no need to have someone incompetent and lying about the situation."
"I went into the Carter's store searching for a pair of shoes to match my two year old's outfit I bought for her school portraits, which were the next day. My daughter was super ill and wasn't making things easy on me. The store associate (Raven, if I remember correctly was the absolute best. She helped me match shoes to the outfit and informed me about the sale that was going on. She even entertained my daughter so I could get everything together and get ready to pay, which was super helpful! She did an excellent job!"
"Love Carter’s but will probably never go to this location again. As soon as I entered some tall guy started pointing to his mouth. Granted I didn’t have a chance to put on my mask yet, but seeing as he was so deep in conversation with his coworkers, one of which was NOT wearing a mask, I was not even sure if he was talking to me. After he made clear what he wanted I already had my mask in hand and was trying to put it in on while holding my baby. The taller man went back to talking to his two female associates, all huddled around the cash register talking and eating, the girl that wasn’t originally wearing a mask was because they were eating McDonald’s. We were ignored for the rest of our visit, as were the rest of the customers. No one was cleaning or organizing their messy store. The reps were nice enough to ask if we found everything ok upon checkout but that was about it. Our entire experience in this store could have been a coaching experience for these three associates. I am really glad that Carter’s is doing so well as to not have to care about their customers. But if I was the manager, I would have only had one associate working, they would have probably gotten more done if there was no one else to talk to, or heaven forbid, talk to your paying customers!"
