"Iv been seeing Dr. Ivanov for YEARS!! he delivered my daughter in 2018. Hes caring and listens even when you sound crazy lol. He takes his time and make sure he answers all your question. AND THE FRONT DESK IS THE BEST! every one in that office is sweet! oh and they office is always very clean and the wait time in very short!!"

"To preface, the rest of the staff at this office (receptionists, nurses, etc.) are wonderful and this statement in no way reflects on them. I was unable to see my OB as his schedule was full until the 26th, and decided to see Dr. Ivanov instead as I've had all around pleasant experiences in this office. Dr. Ivanov has no business caring for and treating pregnant people. His bedside manner was abominable and he caused me emotional distress in the manner that he spoke to me. He lacks empathy, compassion, and any semblance of affability. I understand he had concerns about my weight gain, but as a seasoned professional, he should know by now that there needs to be some consideration for the patient when addressing sensitive topics like weight gain. He also failed to ask me if I had any questions for him, he simply interrogated me about my weight and my medical history. I will not be accepting him as my physician for any reason from this point forward."

"Dr Ivanov isn't nicknamed "the friendly giant" for no reason. His very tall stature and deep voice can seem a bit intimidating but after becoming his patient I couldn't be more relieved. I met Dr Ivanov during the birth of my first child.The experience was so positive that I decided to make him my Obstetrician for my 2nd pregnancy. He was attentive and never annoyed with my overly concerned inquiries. I was always able to reach him and he never dismissed any changes in my medical state. I owe the success of my pregnancy to divine intervention and to DR IVANOV. What a great doctor and human he is! He is very professional and his experience speaks volumes. PS women's contemporary care ob/gyn practice and the fetal maternal clinic are both AMAZING!"

"I waited over an hour for Dr. Ivanov even though I could hear him clearly outside my waiting room making small talk with the nurses. I am 7 months pregnant and just like the prior reviews the doctor seemed bothered by my presence right when he entered. I was second guessed by any answers I provided. The doctor asked irrelevant questions as to what I did for a living. The entire experience was very uncomfortable and traumatic. The doctor was very aggressive with the exam. After the initial exam we were told by the nurse to meet with Dr. Ivanov in his office to go over the exam results. The doctor took a personal phone call right in front of us and explained very little to nothing about the exam and health of my baby. Also the doctor is Bulgarian and speaks Russian, but when asked if he can speak Russian during my exam he said he did not speak the language. I asked the nurse afterwards and she stated the doctor does speak Russian fluently! I would highly recommend finding a different doctor that has the basic human ability to express and show care and compassion. I cannot emphasize enough in my 30 years of living that this was the worst experience with a doctor! I will be reporting Dr. Ivanov and speaking with the director of Winthrop hospital."

"Dr. Ivanov is gentle, but thorough. I would give him 4.5 stars if possible. The only drawback is that i sometimes find it hard to understand him because of his accent. He is an excellent caregiver in every other respect, and I am very happy with him."
