"I initially came to this clinic intending to see Dr. Betty Nyein because my mother recommended her. When I called to make an appointment, the receptionist asked if I'd like to see Dr. Siyu Xiao because she was available at the time/date I requested. Not wanting to wait longer than I have to, I took the appointment. I am extremely happy I did because Dr. Xiao was very professional, patient, and meticulous. She asked about my medical history in detail and listened very carefully to my symptoms. She ran every exam needed to rule out potential issues and personally called to discuss test results. It's hard finding doctors that care about their patients nowadays. (I actually came here after an experience with an extremely dismissive GYN who supposedly had decades of experience.) I am 100% confident in putting myself in Dr. Xiao's care."

"I went to this OB clinic for prenatal care of both of my pregnancy. Staffs are friendly, appointment is almost always on time, waiting room and patient rooms are always clean. Doctor Roland Nyein and Betty Nyein are kind, professional and always patiently answer my questions if I have any. doctors also call me personally for any abnormal lab results. I will definitely refer to my friends and family."

"Highly recommend Dr. Roland Nyein. He is my first gyno since I started making women wellness appointments years ago. He's soft spoken but very kind, super attentive, excellent bedside manner and will personally call you to follow up with your pap smear results. I truly appreciate that in a doctor. He's very personable and I'm never afraid or embarrassed to ask him questions. When I requested birth control pills he personally contacted my insurance when I ran into an issue when I was picking up my rx. Also if you call the office and ask to speak to him and he isn't there, he will absolutely call you back. I missed his first call cause I was taking a late afternoon nap and I thought I had to try again the next day to reach him but he called me one more time before leaving for the day and I was so grateful!! I could not be happier with him as my gynecologist. I wish he was my PCP also!!! The receptionists were my main issue years ago and was the reason I skipped the last 2-3 years annual visits but finding a good gyno is so hard and I love Dr. Nyein, he's absolutely the only reason I stayed with this office despite my frustrations with the front desk. I used to go to the Chinatown office but that location gradually became terrible for me in terms of cleanliness and organization. Every time I tried making an appointment, they couldn't find me because they had my birth date listed incorrectly in their system and kept insisting that I had to fix it with my insurance but my insurance has never had it wrong and no other doctor's office has told me that my birthday was wrong. So finally this year, they got it together and fixed it so now I don't have to dread arguing on the phone about who I am and when my birth date is. Back then they also never had the option of English or Chinese when calling and although I am Asian-American, I'm not Chinese so back then they'd automatically answer in Chinese but now you can make the language selection before being connected to someone and be confident that there won't be any communication issues. They also use a patient portal now which has been very convenient for me and especially during these times to stay connected with your doctor. Since rectifying my original receptionist problems, I can confidently recommend this place. I've switched over to their Brooklyn location and it's a lower level office so there are some stairs, just keep that in mind if you've got strollers, kids, or are elderly. Also I usually have a copay but they just mail me the bill. So once you're done with your appointment you can just walk out but I always double check anyway. One last thing, to my fellow drivers, arrive early! Street parking around this office is hard!!!"

"Irresponsible and unreliable. My wife did a first visit for pregnancy check up with them 3 weeks ago and scheduled for 2nd check up today. After 3 weeks, today, we returned for following check up and they told us at the face that they were not accepting our insurance. Why they don’t let us know within the last 3 weeks and only telling us when we need to see the doctor on the scheduled date? WTH. This very unprofessional and not caring for their patients. If they let us know earlier then we can look for a new place. Now, we are delaying our check up for my wife’s pregnancy and worrying a lot. Shame on them. Unbelievable. No excuses from the pandemic or any reason. Disappointed."
