"It took 2 days and 3 phone calls to get a prescription refilled. When I called to express concern over my wife’s struggle with five weeks of “morning” (all day) sickness, I was told the doctor was not in, and if my wife looked dehydrated we should go to the ER. Dr. del Rosario seemed distracted and unprepared for all of our appointments and we were given little to no information on what to expect or how to cope. Overall, the office was quite difficult to work with and showed a lack of compassion."
"Dr. Rosario is a pleasure. She takes her time to answer all your questions. She makes you feel comfortable and not pressured. A rare beautiful doctor that is not easy to come by. She will be in my back pocket for a long time"
"This is now the SECOND time that Dr. Rosario has helped me and a family member in an emergency medical situation. We were not prior patients and were in dire need to be seen. Dr. Rosario and her staff moved things around to fit us in and she is an outstanding doctor whom I have the utmost respect for. Thank you Dr. Rosario for being one in a million....most medical care providers these days don't even belong in the same room as you!"
"I've been a patient of Dr. Del Rosario for almost 10 years. In December I contacted her office to confirm that she can resend over a prescription that I never received from a virtual office visit back in October (no urgency whatsoever) turns out it was sent to another pharmacy on file. No problem, I provided the updated pharmacy and confirmed what medications I'd be receiving. What has been so bothersome is that I received a very upsetting voicemail from Dr. Rosario who seemed angered, expressing she does “not like being told she didn't do something when she did” and hangs up. I found it very odd and was extremely confused as to why a professional would leave a voicemail like this and where this animosity was derived from. I've never experienced anything like this from her or any staff in her office. I immediately called back but unfortunately it was after office hours. The next morning I expressed my confusion to one of the nurses and explained that I have had the upmost respect for this doctor. I've traveled from NJ just to visit this dr! I have never had issues in the past with the dr or staff. It was then mentioned I should find another doctor as she no longer wants to see me as a patient. Now at this point this escalated to a point it should never have. I requested to have Dr. Rosario contact me to set things right even if I needed to find a more local doctor. I also left a message for the nurse I initially spoke to who would’ve been returning to the office the following day. Since at this point it seemed like there was an improper message relayed.... Third day, I haven't heard from Dr. Rosario. I left another message for her and spoke to, I believe Michelle, who works at the front desk and also received the initial phone call. I apologized if she felt I was being belligerent or seemed upset. This nurse literally told me she did not get any of that from our conversation and she's not sure how this could've escalated and apologized to me! Also said she would leave another message to have dr. Rosario return my call. I'm writing this review because I still have not heard back from Dr. Rosario after 4 weeks! And as a professional she has been dodging me?? Haven’t gotten my prescription and I'm not sure if she was having a bad day or no longer accepted my insurance or whatever the deeper rooted issue may have been it still would've been nice for her to contact me back and express this to me. I've raved about this DR to everyone I know also leaving a lot of reviews especially on ZocDoc. (Which she is no longer on) I'm not sure how it's come to this from simply asking a doctor to resend the prescription but this is extremely unprofessional and those visiting her should have the right to know about this random outburst that leaves me having to find another GYN mid pandemic."
"I have been a patient of Dr. Del Rosario for 20 years, but am no longer going to continue with her due to her "protocol" (aka need to get as many copays as possible). I went in November for my yearly and she wrote me a script for a mammogram. The mammogram required a follow-up and the radiologist recommended a needle biopsy (which requires a script). When I contacted Dr. Del's office, I was told that I would need to come in for a consultation in order to receive the script. I would understand if I had not been in for my yearly, but to me this was just her office being insensitive to my needs. I asked for a call from Dr. Del to discuss which I never received. I cancelled the consult and was able to get the script from my physician once I sent the results in. When I asked the radiologist if this was normal (to require a consult), I was told that it was not normal and that my conclusion that she just wanted another copay was probably accurate. I will be looking for a new gynecologist."
