Shadowland Stages

Shadowland Stages is a vibrant institution located at 157 Canal Street in Ellenville, New York. Our MainStage season offers the magic of live performances in an intimate setting, showcasing the talents of some of New York's most exciting actors, directors, and designers. Nestled in the heart of the Hudson Valley, our charming venue is the perfect place to experience the thrill of live theater.

In addition to our MainStage productions, Shadowland Stages opens its doors to individuals and organizations looking to host rehearsals, parties, performances, meetings, or conferences. Our MainStage and Studio spaces are also available for retreats, with accommodation options in our actors' house.

The Academy at Shadowland Stages provides arts education opportunities for both youth and adults, offering small, socially distanced acting classes and private lessons in various artistic genres. We are dedicated to nurturing creativity and talent within our community.

As a proud "economic engine" in the area, Shadowland Stages collaborates with local organizations and amplifies the voices of local artists in the theatrical community. Our past productions, such as "CRY IT OUT" by Molly Smith Metzler and the East Coast premiere of "FLINT" by Jeff Daniels, have captivated audiences and showcased the diversity of our programming.
