"The improv show was hilarious! Super fun and worth going to see! This was my first time ever going to a showing at the focus theater so of course I had a million questions before showing up. They were wonderful at getting back to me with answers to every question I had. There is light snacks(popcorn, candy, chips) and drinks ( alcoholic and non alcoholic) also available right in the theater. Thank you for a great evening! This will become a regular date night thing for us!"
"This place is amazing. I booked a few shows here for the Rochester Fringe Festival and they couldn't have gone better, ample seating incredible accommodations and a nice little snack bar to keep my guests happy while they were entertained. They also offer a slew of classes and performances so whether you like to involve yourself in the Arts or just observe them they've got you covered."
"Excellent venue once you get to it in the the 3rd floor of the Sibley building. Sound proof room so you can get loud. Funny comedians and improv spot."
"Pros: The Focus Theater is a perfect space for small-venue theater productions. Every seat is a good seat. Those who enjoy a more intimate theater experience can sit in the first two rows. Those sitting a bit further back are still close enough to see the performer's facial expressions and feel as though they are participating in (or eavesdropping on) a conversation with the performer. We were pleasantly surprised that attendees have the option to purchase snacks and beverages -- we thought the venue would be too small to offer that amenity, so that was a nice surprise. The Mortimer Street Garage across the street was a perfect place to park. Cons: Once we entered the Sibley Building from the parking garage skywalk, we had a difficult time figuring out how to find the theater. We heard there were signs, but we somehow missed them, despite intentionally looking for them."
"Attended Battle Royale twice and had a great time! Guilt and Mirrors is an amazing troupe. Excellent show, venue, and experience all for $10!!! We will be back."
