"When planning our wedding, we realized neither of us know how to slow dance whatsoever. We wanted our first dance to be original and fun, rather than a typical slow dance that would bore our guests to death. We found Arthur Murray and decided to try out a dance lesson to see how we liked it. Our instructor, Wayne, made the whole experience so much fun for both of us – we always looked forward to our lessons. During our first lesson he danced with another instructor to show us what our dance could look like and we were in absolute awe and totally hooked from that point forward. Our package came with group classes and parties, which were also a blast and taught us a few new dance styles. The other students who attended were always so friendly and welcoming. On our wedding day, our guests were completely stunned at how beautiful and refreshing our dance was! Not to mention, some of the moves he taught us made for some GREAT pictures. If you have a wedding coming up and are considering dance lessons with Arthur Murray – do it! A special thanks to Wayne for always being so kind, patient, and helpful with us. "Wayne was great!! He was so kind and helpful when teaching my now husband and I how to dance for our wedding. "Dancing at Arthur Murray Saratoga Springs is a time commitment with delightful social and personal rewards. Talented professional teachers, focused on teaching an ambitious and wide curriculum of dances of your choice. Unfortunately, often people assume that since I am a Latina, it is natural for me to know how to dance. Yes. Generally, Latinos are encouraged, since birth, to move in time with Spanish rhythmic music! But, the weekly private and group lessons at AM have transformed the aesthetics and culture of my dancing. I am now practicing and studying new steps which keep me intellectually and physically challenged. I can’t believe it has been a year. The many compliments I get are received with new confidence!"
