"I have been going to this practice for several years. I have received wonderful care. Both the PA -Olivia , and both dr. Cicchetti’s have treated my back with injections and radio frequency ablation. They are all great providers who care and have excellent OR skills."
"I love Dr. C; she's helped me a lot with my issues. That's where the good feelings end. The phone system is horrendous, and if you've waited on the phone with Spine and Sports, you know what I mean. What this comes down to is the people who own the practice simply don't want to hire enough customer service folks to handle the massive volume of emails and calls. How do I know? Because it was like this BEFORE the pandemic. It's just that I've only gotten around to posting about it now. This is an entirely self-imposed problem on the part of the owners, and there's an easy fix: pay to hire more employees. I've never experienced such an ineffective phone communication system at any doctor not only in WNY, but also in other "busier" places I've lived in, like NYC, DC, etc. No bueno. Please fix."
"Every appointment I have at Buffalo Spine and Sports Medicine in Williamsville or Orchard Park is WORTH IT! The service from all staff and doctors go above and beyond to give the best treatment for their patients. I would personally recommend these offices to anyone! Especially, Charmel, one of their very professional secretaries is always willing to go the extra mile to assist and help understand what us, as patients need to do in order to get the best service in Western New York State."
"Staff, secretary, nurse, and doctor were all rude and impatient. Dr. Percy was almost an hour late for the initial consultation. She didn't listen. Was impatient with both my husband and myself. Most unfriendly atmosphere. If I could give a zero rating I would. I work in a prominent specialist office in Hamburg and will never be referring my patients ever again. Edit: Since this post, the practice manager contacted us, apologized, and decided to use this as a teachable moment for the staff. My husband was brought in earlier today, and the staff had made a significant improvement in bed side manner. I appreciate the practice manager's responsiveness in this matter. Due to this, will be increasing my star review."
"believe they have 2.9 stars as they don’t even deserve 1 star. Waited almost 6-7 weeks for my appointment and was told to get MRI & EMG report before they would see me. I was given PT before seeing the doctor so I brought my test results with me. After only one session I was in so much pain I couldn’t move for days. I received my preregistration forms in the mail to be filled out & returned by mail. It stated by doing so I didn’t have to show up early to fill out at the office. When I arrived the receptionist could not locate my forms or even know why I was there. Finally found my forms entered on the computer. Wow I think that’s where I would have looked first. The nurse that took me back for my appointment barked at me asking for that paper work as I responded I mailed it back like you said. She was not happy as she wanted it in her hand not her computer. Then she said you are late so I have to hurry with you. I explained I was not late I was 15 minutes early and have your text on my phone to verify my appointment. When I finally got to see the doctor she asked me for my MRI and I explained I gave it to the therapist when I came for PT. He said I have a bulging disk and pinched nerve in C-6 and C-7. She said they don’t have it and can’t treat me till they get it. I explained again the therapist had it she said his stack is sky high and they don’t have the time to go through them and would contact the Doctor that gave me my MRI. Then she stated she would call me the next day to explain what was next for my treatment plan. Well that was a week ago and still no call and still in lots of pain. This office should be banned from practicing medicine as they are clueless to what they are doing. Here is what I have to say to your office please do not try to pacify me by saying I need to communicate through your patient portal or because of privacy laws you can’t respond on line. Save your breath and have the common courtesy to honor your oath as a doctor and heal the sick not pick their pockets"
