"I had many friends growing up who studied at Pai's and loved it. So, I tried this location with my son (5) back in Sept 2021. He was a bit nervous of a new activity in a new place with new people. The owner was very busy taking my money and getting my son a shirt. Never formally introduced himself to me and never said a word to my son until he took him around to take his shoes off. The class had 30+ kids and 1 instructor with 1 helper. The class was very loud and chaotic and when it was over the owner asked my son if he wanted to come back and he said "no". There was little attempt made to understand why or encouragement to try it again. Didn't get the feeling at any time during our experience that this establishment cared whether or not they got my business."

"This posting is in total relation to what it is like and whats really going on at this clifton park location. Going back PRE-pandemic, everything was fine. Ran normal as usual there and all the students and instructors were close. Nothing to be said for the pre-pandemic. Lets talk about now. POST pandemic. They lost track and do not care for their students who have been there for 6 years plus. I can’t even get the owner of this location to tell me all the correct information I need to be fluent. He knows my child but doesn’t know what they need to advance as far as paper work, classes to make up or things that need to happen prior to rank advancement. The owner is losing his business model and im in fear that my contract with them is “pay me, but I don’t care about your childs rank nor their needs to move on”. They cannot keep organized and the amount of money is outrageous . They owe ALL the participants an award as per the usual-the Championship. They failed to let the kids as well as the parents know about what the deal is on why we paid $80 for a championship/and nothing to show for. Its been weeks now and still no update on the awards. Im beyond upset after all these years of being with them. Its one thing after another with them and its a lot of money we parents dish out. I will say that the student instructors are great, very nice kids. Master Allen is probably the BEST instructor ive seen around here. He is in Saratoga pai’s. Thank you for reading and i hope no one gets mad especially the owner. This is critical to me and my decision on weather i need to pull my kid/s."
