Our classes are taught by experienced black belt instructors and are available for both kids and adults throughout the week. Judo, a combat sport and form of self-defense originating in Japan, focuses on throwing opponents to the ground, immobilizing them with grappling techniques, or forcing them to submit. Our program is led by 4th Degree Judo Black belt Mike Arcuri, who has trained numerous national champions and thousands of students. Kids as young as five can join our Olympic-style Judo program, where they learn discipline, self-esteem, and the art of Judo in a safe and fun environment. Our dedicated team of black belt instructors are committed to providing specialized instruction and ensuring child safety. With classes offered on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, Team Combat Judo is the premier destination for Judo training on Long Island.
