"If I could give this place a negative review I would. They are absolute GARBAGE! If you want to get financially ruined and never get anywhere with thousands of dollars in denials after getting things preapproved with their head medical director of insurance, then by all means, sign up! The worst part is the state workers have to deal with this insurance that treats their employees and their families like trash. Today alone a prescription had to be sent to three different places being denied every single time, even after mvp reps looked up and gave me a specific place in network. It was then sent to the new place and again denied. The next person at mvp said it has to be sent directly through their supplier and mailed when I need the prescription TOMORROW. There is zero consistency, not a single employee ever says anything that the last one says. This was supposed to be “world class healthcare coverage” but it’s been an absolute nightmare. I’ve carried healthcare coverage on myself for 22 years and NEVER ran into any kinds of problems like MVP gives and I’ve always had health issues, so I’m not new to dealing with insurance. They will straight hang up on you if you get remotely frustrated. What kind of representation is that?? I’m literally having to drop my secondary insurance that is provided for free because they’re causing such problems making prescription be ran through my other insurance when I do not carry any prescription coverage through the other insurance, pharmacies CANT EVEN BILL Medicare part A & B because there it’s not prescription coverage. You will always get the run around and never get anywhere. You’ll sit on hold and magically get disconnected. I really hope this review cautions you from wasting your money and hours upon hours on the phone left with nothing but frustration."

"One of the worst Healthcare provider relation ever met, they will not provide any info, even we have the denial, they will never except provider questions. they just say "we will not give any information ill connect to AVR if you like". I don't know weather the have bot for provider line or live rep. Not satisfied with the service. I never like to give single star just to post my concern selected single star."

"Worst customer service. Had to make 10 to 15 calls every time I needed a refill of my durable medicine item for diabetes between Mvp and the supply company. On hold on average 1/2 hour. Wasted 5 to 6 hours on phone calls a month. Was told every time it was “fixed” and it wasn’t. The only thing the nurse that was supposed to assist me in managing my health helped with was me telling her my doctors and I have things under control and her sending a letter to me with what my goals were as if she was doing something as to justify her position. Lol I did everything myself. Waste of money for that position. The individual who worked in pharmacy was useless and not knowledgeable at all and told me I could get my Dexcom locally when in fact I couldn’t. Switched to Humana and customer service so far has been excellent!"
