"World Taekwondo Is a wonderful place to learn tkwd! When we moved to LI we tried several schools. We don't even live in Port Wash but it is absolutely worth the drive to come to World Taekwondo. It is such an encouraging and supportive academy with excellent instruction. Grandmaster Woo is highly accomplished and has spent a lifetime mastering tkwd and bringing tkwd to people of all ages and walks of life. Grandmaster Woo is kind, thoughtful, and an energetic teacher and leader. He sets the tone and standards for the school. Master Ryan, Instructor Vito, and all the instructors make it fun and teach with kindness and patience. World Taekwondo is very clean, well equipped, and there is a large viewing window where you can watch your student. World Taekwondo is active in the community outside of the school also - taking part annually in the Port Parade and inviting the whole family to their annual picnics at Manorhaven Park and holiday parties at the local schools. World Taekwondo is a real family and community oriented academy. My son started here when he was 6 years old. He is now a black belt but I am even more happy about all the life skills he has learned from World Taekwondo like commitment, discipline, perseverance, and respect for himself and others. He is a confident and respectful teenager. I highly recommend World Taekwondo for the whole family. Encouraging, supportive, friendly and fun!"

My older son (6yo) started here after struggling with other sports/activity programs and he is loving it and doing well. The Masters and Assistants are attentive and engaging. It's obvious that they care about their students progress as well as their enjoyment of TKD. We tried a few weeks of the summer camp and my son ended up doing 7 weeks he loved it so much. My youngest (4yo) just started and is loving the training as well. The approach is encouraging with a focus on discipline and respect and the delivery is very developmentally appropriate. 10 stars!"
