CUNY OAREDA, located at 555 West 57th Street in New York, is a university institution dedicated to advancing equity, access, and student success through applied research, evaluation, and data analytics. The Office of Applied Research, Evaluation, and Data Analytics supports decision-making, strategic planning, and policy development across the City University of New York (CUNY) system by providing timely and accurate evidence and maintaining data infrastructure and analytic tools. OAREDA offers a wide range of services, including analytic and data support for CUNY colleges, federal and state reporting, system-wide surveys, and qualitative and quantitative research on student trends and outcomes. OAREDA collects and analyzes data on student demographics, enrollment, and outcomes to inform strategic decision-making and meet the needs of internal and external stakeholders. Additionally, OAREDA is responsible for overseeing student placement testing policies and procedures and administering standardized exams on behalf of CUNY campuses.
