"This place is terrible. I attempted to get a second bachelors and the staff were so terrible I ended up withdrawing after my second semester. Professors who did not want to do thier jobs. Administration who ignored my emails. The school also kept thousands of dollars that should have been refunded to me when I withdrew WITHIN THE TIME FRAME TO GET A PORTION OF THE TUITON BACK. Everyone I have reached out to is now ignoring me. If you are thinking about transferring DON’T DO IT. This school does not care about transfer students. If you’re looking to start college as a freshman look for a better school. This one is subpar at best and the staff will treat you poorly. I regret every applying to this school."

"I attended St. Joseph’s College about 5 years ago. I found the staff rude and entitled— besides a select few. I transferred to Nassau Community College and I am so glad I did! Save your money and time."

"St Joes is NOT for people for WORK FT. I have one upper level class LEFT. It’s not offered at night and only every other semester bc they have ONE teacher for it. Yes, two campus’ and one teacher. I work in the field I’m trying to complete a bachelors in and now I’m at a standstill. The response I received was “yes, I am correct and will need that class, good luck with my studies.” St Joesph’s College is still not worthy of University status in my eyes."

"When I think about the role education plays in developing the whole person, St. Joe's is among the best. The experience I had was one that transformed me for a lifetime and I owe a great amount of credit to the College for the success and lifestyle I enjoy today. The core values of the institution are values I pride myself to live by and witness many alumni doing the same. The co-curricular experience introduced me to and prepared me for the real world. If you embrace the entire campus experience you will receive an education that goes well beyond the curriculum of your major but one that prepares you for life and how we can all find a place in the world to contribute to the greater good. The faculty and staff were extremely student-centric, clearly there for no other reason than a dedication to preparing young adults to be the best version of themselves. Thank you SJC. "This university was once a great community who cared about charity events and enriching the experience of undergraduates. They used to foster participation in the community, until this year when they blocked undergraduates from attending a charity event which has been running since 2006 without any issues whatsoever. Based on a presupposition of guilt, the administration changed their interpretation of stated policies and refused to work in good faith with the first student endowed scholarship on campus. It is sad to see how they have turned their backs on the community and now seemingly only care about alumni for their wallets. If you want a well rounded education, and a supportive attitude from administration, you would be best to look elsewhere for where you send your child for their higher education."
