Marist College Upward Bound, located in Poughkeepsie, New York, is a federally funded college preparatory program established in 1966. Exclusively for first-year accepted students, Admitted Student Day is a comprehensive program tailored to meet the needs of participants. With a current funding level of $657,533.00, the program serves 147 youths from two senior high schools in Dutchess and Orange counties.

The core curriculum at Marist College Upward Bound includes instruction in mathematics, laboratory science, foreign language, computer science, composition, and literature, with additional services such as career exploration, personal counseling, academic advising, financial aid counseling, tutorial support, mentoring programs, college entrance exam preparation, and social and cultural events.

Services are provided on campus, at high schools, and at other sites after school, on Saturdays, and during the summer residential program. Marist faculty, staff, and students serve as volunteers or salaried personnel to support participants during both the academic year and summer components.
