Reviews of Pathway Pediatrics
"My wife and I started bringing our 9 month old to pathways pediatrics a couple of months ago and we are thoroughly impressed. All of the staff members are friendly and patient. Dr. Vattana is wonderful. She is patient and compassionate with our son and provides excellent care. I would recommend pathways to anyone."
"The nurses and Dr Vattana are friendly and wonderfully accommodating of my toddler. They are able to do his physical exam and vaccinations while he sits in my lap and I really appreciate that. It helps him feel infinitely more comfortable than having to be on the exam table. Additionally, we have always been able to be seen quickly for same day sick visits and get the well visit appointments we need. 4 stars because of our experience with the after hours call line. I recognize that at a small practice it is impossible for the MDs to take night call, but when we had an issue we spoke with a nurse at a call center and were not confident with her advice. If you are reading this review to help choose a pediatrician, perhaps you would consider a larger practice that makes is possible to speak with a doctor after business hours."
"When Dr Parris was our pediatrician, this practice was amazing. Not just Dr Parris but the nurses and receptionists made my son’s visits pleasant. Since she left the nurses and other staff have slowly been replaced. Well there’s a reason the good reviews stopped after Dr Parris left. From the first visit with Dr Vattana, she would look at my son like he annoyed her. My son has chronic constipation the last two years and trouble sleeping through the night. Dr Vattana recommended him taking MiraLAX and melatonin daily indefinitely as a safe option. When I asked about looking into his diet or seeing if there were supplements that would be beneficial instead (ones that I’ve heard friends have recommended to them to them by other pediatricians and do wonders) I was told it wasn’t necessary if I was feeding him correctly and that giving him even a small child dose of magnesium would cause kidney damage. Does any toddler/small child eat all their vegetables? And how is MiraLAX safer than a natural supplement like magnesium? She commented how my son was doing better this time compared to one of his past visits where he cried the whole time. The time she referenced was when he was extremely sick and she was giving him a COVID test with the q-too all the way up the nose. I don’t feel my son’s real needs are being met nor do I think this Doctor cares. I will be switching to a new pediatrician immediately. Don’t go here."
"Took my 6 month-old for a covid vaccination. This isn't our normal pediatrician, but Pathway Pediatrics is the only provider in town I was able to find who is vaccinating infants by appointment. The space is calming and playful. Check in was easy and fast, especially given we're not active patients. The provider who gave the shot was great, and my baby didn't even cry. They had information posted about a sliding scale for payment and about getting your prescriptions filled on site (a bonus for busy parents). I'm posting photos of both."
