"Totally 0 star. Worst customer service. I have called 7 times seven different days to make an appointment. When the front desk transfer the call to the scheduler, the phone goes to voicemail. When I told the front desk about it, she said nobody is perfect. I understand but please at least call me back because I left 7 voicemails. I don't know how they are still in business with these kind of useless employees."
"Good luck trying to get someone to call you. Sleep study was approved by insurance 9/7. Two weeks later I was calling trying to see what the hold up was with scheduling. September was booked, they didn’t have October’s schedule yet (on 9/21??) and they’d call me. I called them again 9/29, scheduled sleep study for 10/7. 10/2 had to call to reschedule. Left a message 10/2, 10/3 and 10/4. Emailed three times because that’s “faster” according to the recording. Finally someone from the Florida office called me, she tried really hard to help but she’s in Florida and doesn’t schedule for New York. She tried every extension in the New York office and didn’t get an answer. She finally got a supervisor who said they would take the call, but the. She didn’t answer and I got hung up on. Someone from Buffalo finally called me, had no idea what happened, she would look into it and call me back. She called back when I was on the phone for work, I called her back within one minute and the phones were off for lunch. The answering service said they’d have them call me back. They didn’t. I just had to call again and leave another voicemail."
"I've been waiting MONTHS for my sleep study results. I've called repeatedly only to be sent to some voice-mail of someone who never returns the call. My need for a sleep apnea machine is very URGENT and these people make it impossible"
"Received a quick call back immediately on the day of my doctor’s referral to verify information and stating that they would call me to schedule an appointment after the insurance was approved. However, after several weeks I still had not received a call. I had to call them myself find out what was going on and it turned out my insurance was approved and they just never called me back. They transferred me to schedule an appointment, where a friendly and apologetic staff member and I spent a good deal of time waiting due to their system freezing - but eventually, I finally had an appointment booked. Then, on the morning of my appointment after I had already made preparations, they called me to cancel stating that they did not have anyone to work that night. I was then rescheduled for yet another 3 weeks later. When the day finally came, the actual visit was ok, although certainly not a comfortable night of sleep. The atmosphere of the clinic is a bit dreary and not real welcoming. The room was too warm and there was no fan which made it harder to sleep (I would suggest bringing one with you). The bed was comfortable enough and the room was clean. There was only 2 options for time slots (8:00PM or 10:00PM) and neither of them aligned with my sleep schedule, which made it even harder to fall asleep or get realistic data - on top of the discomfort of all the wires and straps. The time slots are also only 7 hours long which includes getting briefed, plugged in and disconnected which means you will not be getting a full night’s sleep no matter what, so expect to be more tired than usual the next morning and plan accordingly. At least two of the times I finally nodded off the tech had to come in and wake me up to adjust things which may just be the nature of the procedure. My technician was very friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating which was very refreshing. I did not sleep very much and just hoped that they collected enough data to work with. 3 weeks passed and I still hadn’t received any information about my study, despite being told it may take 3-5 days for scoring of the test and another 3-5 days for the doctor’s interpretation. I called and left a message asking them to get in touch with me because I was unable to connect with a person after calling during their regular business hours. They did call me back with a diagnosis and told me they reached out last week, but I double-checked and had no missed calls or voicemails. Either way I am happy to move forward now. Overall I think the Sleep and Wellness Center needs improvement and I’d recommend looking elsewhere for now. The general feeling I had working with them was disconnected and bare-bones. This is a branch of a national company and not a standalone local clinic. The employees I dealt with were typically great to deal with so I don’t blame them at all - it is apparent they are short-staffed and likely overworked. Expect to wait a while to get resolution to your sleep problems and be prepared for some hiccups along the way."
"Like a cheap hotel. Share a bathroom with other patients, wake you up at 430. Nothing like the other places my mother has done sleep studies."
