"My family and I have been with Dr.Lippee for years, excellent doctor. Office staff are very help and are kind. Just recently I needed to make and an appointment and I was told I could not with Dr.Lippee because h could no longer See me since I was a compensation case and he no longer sees complications. I was a little confused. But I was willing to make an appointment with another doctor in the office. And I was told that I had to see doctor westcott and he was only in the merrick office. Merrick is not convenient for me. And I live less than ten minutes away from the massapequal office. I was a little confused about what was going on and very uncomfortable. Having to see a doctor all the way in Merrick that I don't even know that doesn't know me. That doesn't know my comp case and I feel like I would be starting all Over. I'm very disappointed with this outcome. And I did not make an appointment. And I will probably have to see another doctor at this point due to the fact that I do not want to travel to Merrick. First and foremost, it is not convenient like I said and I don't know any doctors in the merrick office. It is impossible to speak with the office directly unless you go there physically and there's no other number but the general number that you get when you cool and that's a person that's not in the office. I asked if I could speak to a supervisor from the young man. That was taking my call for the appointment and he said. Hold on and came back and said there was nothing they can do I had to go to merrick to see doctor westcott. I have always recommended the office because of experience. But now i'm having second thoughts after experiencing My last interaction. Deeply disappointed patient!!!!!!!!!"

"After consultation with an orthopedic surgeon who felt that I would eventually need a complete shoulder replacement he suggested I try some physical therapy first. I really didn’t think it would make much of a difference but if it would forestall major surgery, I would give it a try. To my surprise, it has made a tremendous difference to the point where I have regained virtually complete use of my injured shoulder. My therapist, Yiyang (Tony) Tang, PT,DPT was extremely caring and knowledgeable. He would aways listen to my concerns and incorporate different strategies into the next session addressing those issues. The program he designed for me was personalized and not a “cookie cutter” routine (It should be pointed out that it is incumbent upon the patient to adhere to the exercise program in order to see results). It has now been several weeks since I left therapy but I feel increasingly better day by day. I can’t thank Tony and the entire staff enough for all they have done for me. Everyone in the office is extremely friendly, upbeat and helpful. It made therapy a pleasure."

"I visited this orthopedic office and had an incredibly disappointing experience. The doctor's assistant not only displayed a lack of professionalism but also made inappropriate and offensive comments about my age and having a baby. During the information collection process for my back injury, I mentioned being a 43-year-old with an 11-month-old baby. The assistant's response was shocking – he questioned my age in relation to having a baby and proceeded to express his biased opinions on older parents. His insensitive comments about the challenges of caring for a baby when older were not only unprofessional but also deeply offensive. I felt completely disrespected, and the assistant's ignorance regarding my personal journey to have a child added to the distress. When I brought this issue to the doctor's attention, the response was far from empathetic. Instead of addressing the inappropriate behavior, the doctor repeatedly uttered condescending phrases like "bless you for having a baby." The overall atmosphere of the practice felt more like a clinic than a professional medical setting. I left the office feeling dismissed and offended, and I have no intention of returning. Such unprofessional behavior has no place in a healthcare environment, and I strongly advise against seeking care at this orthopedic office."
