Reviews of NewYork-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital Faculty Practice
"It's very clean, and the rooms are very nice, but it's hard to make an appointment to see a specialist that is not sooner than a month or two! Some even offer 4 months wait. It's better to go to the ER then their Clinic"
"This place is inefficient and disorganize. Wait time to see doc is 1 hour + after checking in.... Doctors are all resident and supposedly be oversee by attending physicians but during our first visit, the resident barely spent 10 min, and didn't fully answer our questions. Another physician came in who is a sub that day barely looked at the chart. Won't release any of the test result on patient portal unless you schedule another appointment in person with your PCP and that info wasn't even given to us. Definitely lack of communication. The ridiculous part is the resident doctor whom is supposedly be your PCP is only there 2 days a week! So that means all the other times if you want to see someone would be with totally different doc...and they told us we can't schedule our appointment with any other doctors since they want continuity of care. Huh? Anyways went back for second visit and this time the attending physician was much friendlier and professional. But the resident doctors all seem tired and not showing much of people skill....don't waste your time there, your wait time is much longer than the actual time you would spend seeing a doctor."
"I did two sleep studies here. The technicians were attentive and professional. I was monitored and wired from head to legs. I felt very safe and secure while I slept. The time passed by quickly. I highly recommend the Sleep Study Center."
"My visit to the Emergency Room was interesting. What I mean by that is the professionalism, the quality of service, and more importantly, diversity played a major role. And my stay there was awesome the nurses, physical therapist, the clerk (who went out of her way and beyond), my surgeon, Dr. Reginald did a spectacular job! I am so humble and honored by the group/staff love and support. Many thanks to Presbyterian-Methodist Hospitality and Professionalism. Best, VBurns"
"It is unfortunate that I had to take my wife for the emergency @ Presbyterian Methodist because of maternity pain , since she was labor for delivery we have gone to the closest hospital we were expecting a sort of professionalism but the fact they keep a. Sri junior doctors in the maternity center as my wife was labor for delivery and crying from pain for almost an hour but the Doctor refused to accept her because she was not following up with them during the pregnancy and advised us to go to another hospital as the hospital policy is not to accept external patients ; that was the most poor medical care service we have ever seen and that is against the human rights , we were not lucky to be serviced by a cold doctor and nurses that doesn't have any sort of humanity, I wouldn't advise that hospital to any one I love they don't care about people suffering. Unsurprisingly the other hospital that we went for took my wife directly to the delivery room as she was due and any further delay would have affected the baby health as his heart pips started to get lower I've taken the report from the other hospital and reported the same to the health department and I'm gonna report it to human rights organization to stop that poor policy . #AvoidPrespyterianMethodistBirthingCenter"
