"Having been beset with chronic cervical spinal stenonis, found that this Brooklyn location is a pleasant place for physical therapy. It is clean and quiet. The physical therapist was in tune with my comfort level, and receptive to providing exercises suitable for my ills. On exercises where there was a risk of falling, the therapist was there to ensure I did not fall. An all around good location for physical therapy needs."
"I get physical therapy here because of my lack of lower body mobility from my office job. I saw a difference within a couple weeks. Bedside Manner & Customer Experience is relatively nice despite the language and cultural barrier. Therapy is higher quality and I’ve tried PT in Manhattan, Prospect Park and Williamsburg in Brooklyn. For my use case, therapy consists of muscle stimulation through electric shock therapy, a couple rounds of massage, assisted stretching and workouts. Transportation is lacking, mainly accessible by bus for me since I live in Bay Ridge but the D and N trains are nearby. Parking is nonexistent here, only was forced to drive here once and wouldn’t do it again Financial costs - can’t really comment because my insurance subsidizes majority of it. They also offer acupuncture, herbs, and chiropractic services, but I haven’t tried any of them. Overall, I would recommend to others!"
"I have been getting PT from Dr. Fred for quite some time. Though I thought he’s good and my condition did get a little better, i didn’t see major improvements. However, that is not the reason why I stopped going. The receptionists are not friendly and never greets you. The office takes walk-ins and still accept all who are late which makes it jam packed most of the time. Plus it’s just too noisy with the walkie talkies and the massage therapist talking so loud to the patients. Sometimes we just want a quiet place to rest and get treated, and not having to converse with the massage therapists. The patients aren’t there to keep you entertained by having to hear your life stories. Plus because Dr. Fred was always busy with many patients, he only was able to work 5-10mins on me, which was just not worth the commute for me. I finally decided to look for another place and glad I did because I found great physical therapist that spends 30mins on me every time. And I am already feeling much better after three visits."
"Thank god I found Dr. Fred and his amazing staff. I had 2 herniated discs and I was in so much pain I couldn't walk, sit, sleep, work. Dr. Fred took me in and with his amazing acupuncture, Kevin's massages, and the Chinese medicine herbs, I was able to get back in track. Can't thank him enough for his kindness and patience! If you have lower back issues or really, any sort of pain and you are looking for top notch professionals, he is the trustworthy Doc you are looking for."
"I had facial paralysis due to stressed out. So I came to CYPA for acupuncture treatment. This is my 8th session and my facial nerves are 85% better than day one. It is very helpful. The clinic is clean and all doctors are nice with patient. I had noticed that many people have different level of body pain due to long home quarantine. I will strongly recommend you to come for physical therapy or massage and release your pain."
