"I had such a wonderful experience with Dr Raskin and the team. I found Dr Raskin very kind, honest, informative, and patient with all my questions that I asked before getting my procedure. The team was wonderful as well from the time that I walked in for my consult to scheduling my surgery & post surgery. My results came out beautiful and natural. I am very happy with the results of my breast augmentation!"
"Overall, I would say my experience with Dr. Raskin left me unsatisfied, disappointed and frustrated. The procedure I had done was body contouring on the torso. I was given contradictory and frustrating information throughout the experience. At first, I was told I was the perfect candidate. Then I was told I have loose skin. At one point I asked if I should have smartlipo - which uses heat to contract loose skin during the procedure. Then I was told that isn’t necessary for me. After the procedure, I don’t notice any difference other than a slight difference/irregularity on one side of my stomach to the other. I mentioned in the one month follow up that I didn’t notice a difference, and if there was a difference, it was very tiny. Dr. Raskin agreed that there was not much of a difference. After that, I was told that because I had loose skin it would hide the results. Yet earlier, Dr. Raskin said smart lipo for tightening loose skin was unnecessary for me. (Note that I worked with another surgeon later, who confirmed that I do not have loose skin.) I was told I did not have a lot of fat to be removed so not much of a difference could be noticed. But at a later time, I was also told that a lot of fat was removed. I was told I could “loose weight” to improve the results. I was told this despite the clinic knowing the following information: 1) I was at totally healthy bmi for myself of 22.5, 2) I was backpacking for several weeks beforehand and was very fit, strong, and healthy, and 3) that I had a past diagnosis and had recovered from an eating disorder. (And recommending weight loss is not appropriate for folks who have recovered from an eating disorder.) No one should have been telling me to loose weight to “improve my results” for a procedure that does not generally require weight loss. Over a year later, my weight is roughly the same. It’s a couple pounds lower than when I had the surgery - it’s not like “extra weight” is hiding the results. And the difference is still not noticeable a year later. I asked for a partial refund after the fact, but that was denied and I was told I could instead get a revision for 50% off. If the clinic offered to do the original procedure at 100% cost and a revision at 50% cost, then why would they not be able to charge the average of the two - 75%, and provide a partial refund of 25%? Later I had another procedure done elsewhere to help me align further with my gender identity. That procedure also included body contouring - in a different part of my torso. My results were significantly different between the areas where that surgeon worked and where Dr. Raskin worked. It helped solidify my decision not to go back to Dr. Raskin for a body contouring revision because I knew now, for my body, having the kinds of results I anticipated was actually possible and a reasonable expectation. Overall, I felt frustrated, disappointed, and unsatisfied with my experience. I felt like I lost thousands of dollars without results and wish I had not gotten the procedure done there. I still wish I could receive the partial refund of 25% back. For my anonymity, I am using a different email."
"I recently had a breast reduction with Dr. Raskin. She and the whole team made the process very easy. I started with a virtual consult, then had my pre-op where she went over everything including post op instructions, and then surgery. After surgery I had a few post op visits. 2 days after surgery I was feeling good enough to walk around and a few days after that I was able to go out and about for Christmas shopping. 2 weeks to the day after surgery I am walking around like the surgery never happened. She did such a fantastic job. My results are so much better than I could have ever asked for. I went down 3-4 cup sizes during my 4 hour surgery and even though it was extensive, I’ve always been comfortable after it. I always felt at ease with Dr Raskin and her staff. I only wish I had done this sooner!"
"Dr Raskin and her staff are highly professional and strive to maintain the highest quality of work. My eyelids, both upper and lower, healed nicely and I couldn't be happier. My new face at last made a new me!!"
