Reviews of Essen Health Care Primary Care
"Wow I guess it’s pointless to come here if they don’t know you came to the cardiologist portion of this site and my appointment is at 945 im currently sitting in the waiting room and t’s already been 2 hours and still haven’t seen a doctor I do understand that thing can happen but to have people come in after you be seen before you is very frustrating I seen people come in saying they have a 11 o clock appointment and is seen in 10 minutes went to the lady at the front with head phones in here ears and scrolling social media saying “idk it happens sometimes” that customer service was horrible by the way I’m still waiting ……. The only reason I have it a 2 because I really don’t know if the doctor is worth the wait"
"Horrible service, promised callbacks are NEVER made, their Call Center System service have little to no knowledge, and lacks communication. You WILL go months without hearing from a Doctor, and you HAVE to call their Call System to book appointments. But guess what? The doctors do NOT communicate with the Call System, leaving you stuck. A manager at this particular facility was supposed to call me yesterday within “10 minutes after she leaves a meeting”, it’s now 24 hours. Requesting an escalation from the Call Center is the same, you won’t speak to anyone. Its been about 1-2 months in my attempt to get a prescription, I still haven’t received it. They don’t care about people at ALL. Do. Not. Go. Here."
"my 2 stars are for dr. rodriguez who deserves to work with a better company. she is very kind, direct, and does the best she can to provide for her patients. i truly felt like she cared to get me what i needed promptly. but you can’t do much when the rest of the team keeps dropping the ball. The lack of communication between the doctors to reception/call centers has made me call out of work early more than once, just to be unable to complete the appointment. they also completely ignored my requestS (with an S cause i said it multiple times) to NOT be sent to a different provider just so they can cram me into the schedule. essen could be amazing but reception and customer service teams are the introduction and they’re PLAYINGGG you."
"I have visited this clinic a couple of times, they wait is long usually and that is to be expected because I am aware this is a large community that needs service. As I am aware the front desk had alot of work on there shoulders and I know that they multi task on various occasions that I have visited. The doctors have been nice and accommodating to my concerns. I am writing this because I was in shock today when I visited to get my blood drawn. I had a scarf and a mask as this is a delicate situation that we are in. All over the world there is a crisis. The person working this morning called me ignorant for having a mask on. Honestly, I have been following this situation way before it exploded here in NYC. I think we reserve the right to do what we feel is best. She continued to express that people should be smarter and learn about this before they have masks on. The day before everyone had masks at the office so I don't see the difference between me wearing one and them. I am very sad that someone that says she is studying medicine will say the wrong things to people in there community. I apologized if she was offended. I think medical techs should reserve there biases and personal opinions. In some countries people think it's normal to use a mask because pandemics have happened before. A little courtesy will go a long way especially in this delicate time. Thanks! Hopefully this is some enlightenment for everyone."
