"Experiencing gaslighting and being ridiculed when seeking medical attention is distressing and unacceptable. Sarah VanWynen specifically ridiculed me and made me feel unseen and unheard! Then Samantha Nogula laughed in my face when I told her I’m going into early labor and then I did go into early labor. All of this could have been avoided if instead of wasting their time gaslighting me they actually listened to my concerns and checked the things I asked them to check for. Trust and communication are crucial in healthcare, especially during pregnancy. It's vital for healthcare professionals to take patients' concerns seriously and provide the appropriate care. If you found yourself in a situation where your worries were dismissed and your well-being was jeopardized, it's crucial to seek support and address these issues with the healthcare facility to ensure that future patients receive the care and respect they deserve."
"I had a challenging experience with this OBGYN office during my pregnancy journey. While I appreciate some of the care provided, there were instances where I felt uncomfortable and unheard. It's important for healthcare professionals to be empathetic and supportive during such a crucial time in a woman's life. There were a few occasions when I felt belittled and as if my concerns were not taken seriously. This left me feeling frustrated and anxious. When I eventually went into labor and sought assistance, I didn't receive the level of support and validation I expected. It's important for any medical practice to maintain open communication and understanding with their patients, especially during such critical moments. While my experience may have been challenging, I hope this feedback can help the office improve their patient care and communication in the future. "I am a LICENSED HEALTHCARE ADMINISTRATOR, specialized in billing coding HIPPA laws etc etc. Never been bothered by busy offices or waiting for over 1-2 hours. Good doctors they will always have busy practices. The doctors are very good. BUT the way how the office runs, and the doctors are double and triple booked is absolutely insane. New patients get a priority booking because obviously they charge more for initial visit. If you are an established patient you are absolutely on your own. The booking staff has no clue how to book, the doctors schedule is unknown till the first of the month and the scheduling is done through a portal that doesn’t work. And you call for a follow up (as recommended by YOUR doctor) NOONE CAN HELP YOU. No booking is done for MFM doctors, if you need one. No one can give you a solid answer from the front desk ( who are absolutely clueless) can’t read any plan of care, if a patient has questions trust me none of those questions will be answered. Total caos. If you are pregnant you don’t need to go through this. Because this booking madness will drive you crazy. The billing department is also another nightmare. They charge you for stuff that is unheard and you never got done. I had to sit down and correct a bunch of their coding errors. The doctors are good but overworked, the MAs are extremely overworked. I see them running and trying to get patients out the door. Front desk is useless. Back desk of whatever that nonsense is is useless too. I would highly recommend to FIRE your office manager, practice manager, billing manager and medical director. And train your FRONT DESK STAFF! That’s technically your line of defense. I’m extremely disappointed. If you are a “high risk patient” like me take your business somewhere else because you will be absolutely medically abandoned to fight with a clueless front desk staff who at the end has no fault. And good luck getting your medical records. They don’t release it for an OBVIOUS REASON."
"Dr. H was reassuring and treated me like an educated person. She is awesome - listens, validates, explains. Now the office staff, on the other hand, are negligent (or they are severely, severely understaffed). They are never available to take appointments, never pick up the phone or call back when the answering service leaves a message for me. They mess up appointment times in patient portal (a noon appointment was entered as 11:00 am). I know it’s difficult to get good office support staff, but it really does tarnish what was otherwise the best medical care I have had in a long time."
"PA literally laughed at me when I told her the emergency room was extremely annoyed that she kept sending me back to them for an abscess I've had for over 2 weeks. Can't see my obgyn until the 16th. Impossible to get an appointment. Stay away from this place. It's unfortunate bc dr. V is great but the rest of the staff is incredibly unprofessional."
