Beacon PROS

Beacon PROS is a health institution located at 451 Fishkill Avenue in Beacon, New York, United States. This program is designed for individuals living with Severe Persistent Mental Illness (SPMI) who are seeking to improve their independence and comfort in society. Participants have the opportunity to learn and refine life skills, build their own schedule, and learn coping skills and medication management in a familiar classroom setting. Classes include life skills like cooking and finances, as well as wellness practices such as coping techniques. Transportation can be arranged for those without their own vehicle, and professionals like psychiatrists, nurses, therapists, and social workers are available on site. The program is flexible, allowing individuals to attend as many classes as they desire based on their recovery goals. Beacon PROS accepts Medicaid and Managed Care through Medicaid.
