"Since the changes from one company to another and now to Optum you spend an unspeakable amount of time on hold getting nowhere. Optum has taken away our ability to use extensions to reach out to the dr.s assistant. I am wasting another lunch hour trying to speak to a person without luck. Needing prescription."
"Called to receive test results, returning a call from my pc assistant. I was on hold for 15 minutes, person who answered had the sniffles and kept sniffing into the phone. I wanted to speak with the dr. assistant but the person with the sniffles read my chart, sniffling the whole time. I did not want to speak with her, would prefer talking to the dr, but could accept the dr. assistant. I would prefer to have my chart read by someone who has seen me, not someone who has no idea what the chart means, with the sniffles."
"I came to visit family in New York and I’m from ca so I have no insurance. The physician Amy didn’t even diagnose me correctly I’ve been sick and getting worse because all she did was prescribe me an inhaler and tell me to keep taking mucinex. I’ve been sick a few days before Christmas Eve but that’s when my symptoms worsened. She proceeded to take my vitals and check my lungs but she did it incorrectly, I had multiple layers of clothes on I’m pretty sure to check my lungs the stethoscope needs to be directly on my skin to hear my lungs correctly. I explained that I have colored phlegm and I can’t breathe at night I also had a fever I also requested a cough medicine to help since I can’t breathe due to how bad my coughing is. Since all she told me was to take an inhaler and mucinex I figured I would’ve felt better now but I feel even worse. I regret paying 150 at this urgent care to not get the help that I need. Now I’m going back to ca I’m going to be struggling on the airplane coughing up phlegm, not being able to breathe well and still having a runny nose thanks to the physician assistant that didn’t diagnose me correctly."
"Went to urgent care to have both my girls looked at. Check in was good and smooth, receptionist was very sweet, kind, and professional. Everything was okay, but when doctor came in she was nice and professional but while Dr. Wolf was looking at my girls she seemed to be listening to what I was saying by nodding her head almost right away saying aha. Then I would ask a specific question and I couldn’t get a clear answer. Very unclear instructions on what to do next and seemed to want to be done with the appointment even though she wasn’t in the room very long. Just felt unheard fully, dismissed, a little confused, a little insulted, a little bit judged, and unsure. I understand being busy, having a long day of patients to see, and so on but I left unsure what to do next in regards to my children."
"I would give zero stars if it was an option. I had an appointment for a mamogram. My dr (ElKareh) noted that I should ask the RADIOLOGIST if I needed an ultrasound as I had one 6 months ago. First there is no on-site radiologist any longer - I was given a piece of paper stating I would get an email with my results within 72 hours. The mamogram tech (Irina G) was bullying me when I said I may not need an ultrasound per Dr. ElKareh. She was very rude. I also relayed Dr. ElKareh's direction to the ultrasound tech. She argued with me but FINALLY agreed to reach out to the radiologist who she said noted that I did not need an ultrasound. So I guess now if we don't stand our ground, we rely on the techs to give us medical advice. Very poor in my opinion."
