"When people go to these rehabs people need to remember it has to be about the I if it's not about you who is it about??? Once you let it come off of the I it allowes other people to affect your program! When you come here take charge stand up And build yourself up. Definitely take advantage of the situation. You won't find places really trying to help people out. When you come here look at things differently and become apart of a better future. I came here to get clean and sober so I can be a better parent to my children!! I only had a drug issue. I haven't had a dirty urine in a year and a half . For me that's amazing!! Small steps for a great future. When I leave here I want to place a bet on never using again as long as I'm not hurt. I really came back this time because I had an issue with taking a pain medicine I was going through Suboxone therapy and I got hurt!! I didn't relapse to get here I feared using street drug's!!! So I needed something for my pain I was given Suboxone that ended up being an issue with me taking care of my children and having Suboxone so I went on to methadone. I hope I won't be in all sorts of pain once I'm off of this medicine. I know it would have probably been easier to just get hydrocodone instead of methadone. I have a implant screwed into my ankle and my knee a metal pipe connects them together. A nice surgery that rebuilt my leg up since on methadone and Suboxone I haven't had much pain. Just concerned about it when I get off I'm getting ready to go down on my mg now time to wein off of this stuff. Great place to go and get better. I wish you all the best make your program what you want it to be!! Don't let others make your program. I had a great Suboxone doctor and a great methadone doctor. The nurses here are amazing they are professional and they care about there patients they do there jobs and don't expect anyone to get in there way!! Security here is good also they won't bother you unless you bother them or there place of business. Take advantage of this program like I said not many places help people out!!"
"11-16-23 UPDATE: No improvement, it was lovely of your office to expand a receptionist area just so that there are *that* many more ignorant and unhelpful faces to be met with to start. It is wholeheartedly baffling how nasty the HELP staff are to you before you can even get a word out. Don't work there if you hate it so much but don't take it out on the people who NEED the services provided by this office otherwise. I sincerely wish each of you actually showed your name badges so you could be reported right up the chain. Still 0/10 recommend. I've wasted 5 years giving this place a chance, and what a waste of time it has been! I've had 9 different therapists and 2 different psychiatrists due to their high turnover rate in employees, their other staff are 9/10 times WILDLY ignorant and truly will not lift a finger to help you any further than they're required, if that. I've had 3 employees here treat me the way I would want them to, compared to the 50, 60, 70 different folks I've come in contact with in my time here. Honestly, the only reason I haven't left is because Syracuse doesn't seem to have much else available for successfully helping treat mental illness. Simply put, I don't recommend care here."
"Have fun waiting for an entire day, just to try and get mental health help. Waited for over 3 hours and still was told it would be another hour or come back another day. Shift change happened , still no evaluation. If you're not suicidal going in, the boredom will make you want to end it."
"This place is horrible, my sister was here trying to get help to get sober and help for her mental health. She did not receive the proper care or counciling. She died there, and they said they were having a cleaning service come in and clean up the fluids from the body. When my family member arrived to pick up my sister's personal belongings most of her stuff was missing, gone, taken before our family could collect our sister's personal belongings. A call was made to the rehab center asking where her stuff was and we were told they don't know where her stuff is."
"helio health is also Central New York Services Inc. If you look up Central New York Service Inc. Click the website, it will send you to helio health's website. The services I have received are misleading and "voluntary" however I am locked into a one-year lease of my unit and to leave the "voluntary" service I must vacate my unit, breach my lease, and open myself up for lawsuits. I have been here for a month. I don't know anyone who can afford 11 months of rent upfront. I know I sure as hell can't. This program should be repercussions free to leave. If I stay my disabilities are going to get worse. If I leave I open myself up to lawsuits and therefore worsening disabilities. My options are to get harmed or get harmed. I wouldn't be in this situation if they did not lie about the services they offer. They are incapable of providing the support I need and have articulated it themselves. If I had been told that during the 2-and-a-half-month intake process, and 6 different meeting, I wouldn't have agreed to be here. Now this is an inescapable situation and I am going to leave here with more trauma when I came here to receive support for my trauma from the healthcare system. Thank you for traumatizing me more helio. I will never put my faith in humanity again. I will never be working with helio health again. I would give a lower rating if I could."
