"After 14 years of seeing sport's doctors, chiropractors, orthopedists and attending physical therapy; with no one sure what the root of the pain, tingling and numbness in my right leg and foot was caused by - Matthew Reed was the first person to say he thought he had the answer. Since seeing him; my symptoms have been subsiding. His explanation for the issue and communication during the therapy has been extremely helpful. I feel very fortunate to have found him and this type of acupuncture therapy."
"I was searching for answers and help with my pain (hip and osteoarthritis) along with pelvic issues. Several weeks ago I started seeing Matt and what a difference his treatment has made in my life!! Following a thorough evaluation he developed a custom plan for me. Matt listens to my feedback, is warm, compassionate and treats the whole person. His knowledge, abilities and skillful, effective targeting of areas has made so many positive changes improving my Quality of Life and Well Being!! Updating my progress from Matt's treatments for past 6 months, I'm amazed at my pain free mobility!! I look forward to my weekly treatments because I walk in with issues, he listens, diagnoses and treats the affected area so that I walk out PAIN FREE!!"
"I’ve tried chiropractor, physical therapy, gym routines and all helped somewhat. But Matt Reed acupuncture surpasses all of these He uses needles with electric assists. His knowledge of the human body, specifically neurology and muscles is encyclopedic! Also he has a great patient centered manner (bed side manner) and listens to your concerns."
"Matt is awesome. He is very patient about educating patients about acupuncture. I’ve struggled with chronic pain and immediately felt results after my first treatment."
"There is a reason there are 100 reviews with all 5-stars. For around 10 years my back has been in varying levels of constant discomfort standing where I need to shift my weight or lean on things to alleviate my discomfort. Recently the discomfort has been pretty unbearable. Through an MRI it was found I had a Schmorl's Node. I try to pursue the holistic route before going to pills and surgery. I decided I wanted to try dry needling. There was none around me (Binghamton) and I looked to the next closest city, Syracuse. This is how I found Matt. As most would be, I was a bit nervous for my first dry needling session. First, let me tell you it isn't too bad. Sometimes it doesn't even hurt others feel, at most, like a horsefly biting you. I only had one spot actually hurt which Matt warned me prior. Prior to the dry needling, Matt took his time examining my body, my imbalances, and listening to my issues. After examining me he did his first treatment. When I was extra tense he made sure to check in with me to see if we needed to stop or take a break. Throughout the treatment he is explaining why he is doing what he is doing. After one sweaty, tense treatment I feel DRASTICALLY better. I can stand without needing to lean or adjust and have been sleeping like a baby. I have only had 3 treatments so far and am hoping through repeated treatment Matt can get me as close as possible back to normal. He seems confident! I think everyone has a subject that makes them tick. This is Matt's. As he is treating you he is citing doctors, papers, books and, more explaining why he is doing what he doing. As he is treating you he seems to be doing "research" of his own. What he studies he applies. He has tested new techniques on me to provide relief and extra movement. Matt is still amazed at his treatments on how dry needling and his other methods are able to restore a large amount of relief and provide extra movement in joints. Matt's passion is in his work and it shows! He even told me he is learning german so he can read the books of another doctor...that is dedication! Matt isn't just correcting the issue you came in with he is correcting all your MSK issues. Thank you for the huge quality of life improvement!"
