Nysmsp, located at 434 Saratoga Road in Schenectady, New York, is a premier institution offering motorcycle safety courses for riders of all levels. Whether you are new to riding or an experienced rider looking to enhance your skills, Nysmsp has a course for you. By taking the Motorcycle Safety Foundation's Basic RiderCourse, you can earn your New York Motorcycle License and learn the fundamentals of motorcycle riding. Already have a license? The Basic RiderCourse 2-License Waiver will teach you the specific skills needed to earn your New York Motorcycle License. Nysmsp also offers courses for 3-wheel motorcycle riding.

If you are an experienced rider who enjoys teaching and helping others discover the joys of motorcycle riding, consider becoming a Motorcycle Safety Foundation Certified RiderCoach. Nysmsp trains over 18,000 motorcyclists per year and operates nearly 40 training sites throughout New York State. They are always looking for qualified riders who want to become MSF-Certified RiderCoaches.

Attend the free MOTO Intro event on May 17, 2024, from 1 PM to 4 PM, where you can ride a motorcycle for free in 30 minutes or less. The event provides the motorcycle, helmet, gloves, and coaching. Nysmsp also offers events from May through August for those looking to become MSF-certified New York State Motorcycle Safety Program RiderCoaches.
