Reviews of Generations Child Care
"Both of my kids have gone here, and continue to go here. They love it and we have always felt they were safe, happy, and getting good education and social experience while we are at work."
"All three of my children have been cared for at the St. John's location. The staff are caring and respectful. The programs are well developed. My kids love it there."
"Signed my child up for this school through rscd so was very surprised to find out that they charge you a registration fee and monthly or bi weekly. I find that very shady seeing as how the rcsd website is showing you free schools that are paid for with tax dollars. They could be very lovely teachers there but for this it deserves 1 star in my eyes."
"My husband and i are first time parents looking for child care. I am hesitant about having someone take care of my newborn who isn't me. But we are just starting to see our options. The generations child care was our first nursery tour scheduled. We arrived today - and the front desk receptionist was very nice. She offered us a seat while we waited for the director, Tammy, to show. In the lobby right by the front door is the waiting room. We went to go sit and i realized the garbage can was over flowing with bugs crawling / flying all around. Instantly I was disgusted. Before our tour - i asked about price and realized they don't offer the part time care we are looking for at this location. I was secretly happy. Before we left - i told Tammy about how i am a first time mom and i am already nervous about bringing my baby to childcare and the garbage was over flowing and covered in crawling bugs. (As a fruit fly proceeded to fly past her head). I told her it skeeved me out and was a very bad first impression. Then i asked how often are the garbage changed? All she had to say was "daily" with a fake half smirk on her face. She didn't apologize for the fact that the facility she runs was disgusting. She didn't have any sympathy. She honestly didn't even act like she cared at all. First impressions are very important. And the cleanliness & Manors of the director - made me never want to let my child step foot in this place. You want me to pay you $800 a month and you can't even clean out your garbage cans??? I think not! Hope all the rest of the nurseries we look at arn't like this dump. {I have a photo but it doesn't give me the option to post it. Go to yelp to see it}"
"i am glad my niece will be leaving after this year , her mother states every time you turn around there is a new assistant teacher in the room. Both my sister and niece enjoyed her last teacher and my baby was excited to go to school, now she’s sad every morning and it confuses her to constantly have to get used to new people and we have to get used to another person around my niece ,this new one does not show any compassion to the children and she can’t control them ! I recommended another center for the previous assistant teacher to work at because she had those kids in line and learning and the kids love her ! very inconsistent and unorganized. I will encourage my sister to write her review especially after today and will be calling the state due to assistant being on phone while kids were unsupervised my niece included !"
