"Terrible terrible my daughter attended this school and graduated during covid she has now taken the nclex exam 5 times out of her own pocket and I have reached out to the school including the director numerous times and it seems once you graduate and they have got their money they can care less what happens afterwards. Now my daughter is stuck unable to obtain her license because of the lack of guidance and help to get her there on behalf of this school"
"I want the opportunity to at least say that the school itself was a great school to practice at! It was! Now there is almost no history about the school in the whole course work. it is diminished. There is a beautiful story behind Isabella Graham Hart herself. What it was about, is totally different now. Meaning there is no good foundation anymore. I wish I could afford to fix this. It means so much to me. God bless nurses!!!"
"I graduated from IGH in 1970. Back then the school was the top rated school of Practical Nursing, I was proud to have had the experience there! Graduates had first pick on any unit that was looking for help. I’m sorry that these reviews don’t reflect what a great school that it used to be."
"As a CURRENT student set to graduate Nov 21’ I mean this with all my heart….DONT DO IT! Pick another school. The short time period is not worth, it the affiliation with the hospital is ABSOLUTELY NOT WORTH IT. On top of that, it’s the most expensive program in the city….so for the amount of money you’re about to pay ITS DEFINITELY NOT WORTH IT! If I could go back and do things over again, the only thing I would change is the institution I decided to attend. From the beginning, it had been nothing but hectic and confusing. Everything that Isabella Graham portrayed itself to be is a lie and a fraud. They lied about everything from the type of learning services available (like access to Sylvan Learning Center) to the type of support and access we have available from the staff. We go months without grades being entered in, leaving us without feedback and real-time grades. Some students are still waiting to know if they will be dismissed because of failing grades from semester one. And YES, they will pass students along w/o completion of the necessary credits. We are currently 22 days from graduation and couldn’t feel more unprepared for my new career. From the beginning (Jan 21) I and my classmates have found ourselves teaching each other and ourselves concepts and leaning on one another for understanding when we should have support from our staff. While there are very few instructors who are as invested as we are- most are only concerned about the impression they will leave on the higher-ups. The same higher-ups (Deborah Stamps, to be specific) seem to only be concerned with bleeding as much money from the students as possible. They are so disconnected from the students it’s impossible for them to hear us fully. The student body increases with every class, but the support staff and instructors don’t. Our clinical instructors need support and guidance and uniformity. I tell anyone who asks to invest in another program. Don’t be distracted by the short program time or even the affiliation with the hospital. It’s not worth the headache or stress. If you want to actually LEARN and be supported by faculty GO ELSEWHERE!!!"
"Very unprofessional and disorganized. I explained my financial aid situation to the proper personnel prior to my starting classes back in January and was left under the impression that everything will be settled and in good standing by the time i started. Turns out that wasn't the case at all. The "proper personnel" was actually a fill in from a different department because apparently they couldn't keep a financial aid advisor on the payroll. To make a very long story short, I eventually had to withdraw from my studies because of a combination of personal issues and lack of financial aid. I have been receiving emails since April asking me to update my financial aid information until about a week ago when i received a bill from Isabella Graham Hart with my financial aid and student loans applied to my costs. To say i was furious is an understatement, I could have been going to school this entire time and graduated with my class. Of course no one has picked up my many calls nor has anyone returned my many voicemails. I pray to God they get notifications of their reviews so that maybe someone can finally reach back out to me before I take legal action."
