"NY Langone will cancel your appointment “the Doctor had a death in the family” if you owe them so much as a dime. This happened to me three times with three different doctors. I got the “will call you back to reschedule”. Meanwhile it was an overcharge / billing error on their part. I think this is illegal. At the very least it’s immoral and against the hippocratic oath and the medical law of ethics. Find a better heath care facility - one that cares and has integrity. There of lots of options around now."
