"I had a major surgery here. I had heard great things about this hospital. My experience however was a disaster. The aftercare was totally inconsistent. I had excellent nurses, I had awful nurses. I had a complication that not addressed in a timely manner causing major and unnecessary distress and pain. I had an apology for some of the things that happened , but it fell very short for me. Advise to any patient. Make sure to document everything about your stay including every staff member that is entrusted with your care here. I am not an anxious person, but would have totally anxiety if I had to have another procedure here."

"Went to the emergency room on 1/31. We really didn't have to wait long to get a bed, however once we got a bed it was 3 hrs before we saw a doctor and even when we did see her, it was extremely brief (maybe 7 minutes) and then She disappeared for 2+ hours! And when we asked to be discharged because she never came back with results, we were told we had to wait for her to fill out discharge papers. So now we're waiting for her to that. Nothing was resolved, but we've been here for almost 6 hrs. If you're coming here for emergency room visit and you're not dying, I highly highly do not recommend! Please go to another hospital!"

"I will say this, there are a few great nurses and doctors at this hospital that left a smile of relief on my family’s faces time and time again , however, the bad experiences my family and I have had here several times seems to tip the scale on the “not so good” side of things. My mom has been admitted to this hospital as she has several times in the past. She is admitted tonight, however, she is waiting in the ER until she is transferred to a room. I have just called the ER to obtain information as to what bed she is assigned to and lo and behold her nurse who goes by the name Kate answered the phone. Not only was she rude and quite dismissive but she blamed another patients “verbal aggression” and heavy use of profanity toward staff on my mother. She continued on making claims that my mom cussed out both the doctors and the nurses. Little did she know when I had spoken to my mom earlier in the day not only was she happy with the service she was receiving but at the same time she informed me of another patient who was cussing at staff and using heavy profanity toward them. The lack of professionalism on display by some doctors and/or nurses is disheartening. I am by no means a race baiting person but I strongly believe her treatment has NOTHING to do with care and EVERYTHING to do with my mom being a black woman. This is an issue some people refuse to admit all the while making it too obvious to believe otherwise. The fact that this “nurse” blatantly lied to me on the phone and expected me to believe her is egregious. This is MY loved one and now I am left trying to decide whether I should remove her from the hospital due to the discomfort she feels while being there all at the hands of one spiteful nurse. Simply put I DO NOT trust who she is in the care of. Please take heed to my words, if you are a minority patient OR if you are someone who has an issue with treatment and you feel you are being treated less than what you should be in a time where you deserve the utmost care and compassion reach out to those in power OUTSIDE of the hospital. Attempting to resolve issues in house will only give you negative results because most if not all of the staff here are friendly with each other. Unfortunately, some staff who shares the same devilish personality such as Kate seems to retaliate against the patient once you reach out to the patient advocates office. To make matters worse , staff members such as Kate who are capable of lying to me may be MORE than capable of spreading nasty lies to her co workers about patients which in turn may effect a persons care in a bad way. This is disgusting behavior and it needs to be addressed in ways that are effective rather than ignored. Our health may depend on it."

"I Had knee surgery here and I can say I had the greatest experience! Since I checked in until I was rolled out. All the staff was friendly and very attentive. Very clean facility as well."

"My mom had knee replacement here by one of the top surgeons. I give this hospital 2 Stars because they take long to bring food, like more than 2 hours long. The floors are dirty like used bandaids, wrappers of medical stuff etc. They are obviously understaffed. My mom stayed three days and they only came once to clean her room. BUT her surgeon is amazing and well known. Also everyone that works there are extremely nice and professional!"
