"I thought of you this morning as I got my daughter Adriana ready for school. This month is her last month in pre-K and will soon be attending TK (transitional K for kids born between Oct and Dec to prepare them for K in California) this August at our local school. I remember 4.5 years ago freaking out about my daughter, (who was diagnosed with conductive hearing loss in her right ear at birth and is now wearing a BAHA Cochlear hearing aid), and wondering whether or not she would be able to develop "normal" speech. As she enters into a new chapter, I want to take a minute to thank you and everyone we worked with at Clarke New York, for everything you guys have done for her...from getting approval to aid her as early as you did, for working so hard to get her the therapy she deserved, and most importantly, for being so supportive to us and other families who have no idea what to do as a new family and no idea where to start when receiving news of a hearing impairment. Because of Clarke, Adriana has grown up to be an outgoing, smart, confident and VERY talkative young girl. Again, just wanted to say thank you again! Hope you are all having a great summer!"
