"If I could give 0 star I would, I just called to get some information about the cost and days etc for a LPN course. The representative ask why I want to do LPN and what I'm doing now etc as if im not capable or it's for a certain class of people. I told her im a dialysis technician etc (sorry i answerd her question) She suddenly hung up on me.I called back and another person answers the phone, i told her that her co worker hang up, she puts me on hold then the phone went straight to inbox. Nasty attitude! Stay away from this place, the way how they communicate and disrespect people on the phone says a whole lot. You People getting paid for doing nothing, management need to fire you all!"
"My time at Allen School was a wonderful and insightful experience; the Doctors that taught us had plenty of patience and took the time to make sure that we comprehended the information and also challenged us to excel in our greatest potential, you learn so many skills that are vital in the medical field. My strongest suggestion to all the students taking this leap into the medical field is once you graduate here and learn from the best of the best; please go on and get certified in everything you learn here to advance your medical career. thank you for everything Allen School of Health Science Jamaica, NY Chrystopher Eugene 2017 Graduate."
"My name is Myriam Toussaint, i completed the MA program at the Allen School Jamaica campus, i just want to thank the whole staff here for all their support. I am 53 years old, i had not been in school since my mid-20s, i was a little intimidated being in class with young people old enough to be my children, it was not an easy road to finish this course but i stuck it through, with the help of the school encouraging me the whole duration of the course. The school director Dr. Chelsic was most helpful in helping me gain the courage to see it through to the end. I am very proud of myself and my accomplishments, this is my first degree since my GED, im looking forward to a bright future with my new degree, i thank God, my family and the Allen School for everithing."
"I want to say that the Allen School of Health Sciences wasn’t my first choice. I only wanted to get more information about the school. My daughter recommended this school to me. I came and spoke to Ms. Hunter about enrolling in classes. I passed my entrance exam with flying colors and enrolled in their four-week course. I paid off my tuition before classes started. Something came over me before starting that kept saying “I’m going to be a failure” and that I shouldn’t bother to go. I called the school to cancel and spoke with Ms. Zabida. She was very strong and shocked about my statement and said she was going to have Ms Hunter call me. I spoke to my husband who told me that a quitter won’t win and a winner never quits. Soon after Joy gave me a call and said “Ms. Bucknor you can’t quit, you have to reach your goal.” I then spoke with one of the directors, Robert. Rob gave me some great advice and we ended the discussion with “Happy Holiday and I will be seeing you on campus next week.” It made me so happy to speak with them. The nervousness did not go away because it was a long time since I sat in a classroom chair. I even had difficulty sleeping. But, with the help of my classmates and my instructor Ms. July I succeeded and completed the program with an A average! I want to thank my teacher, classmates, and husband for all the support. Thank you Allen School. I think it is the place to be and if I can do it you will. Thank you all."
