"I had the pleasure working with Shiv virtually on Friday. This was my first time doing any transaction with the Family Welcome Center in Queens, I heard horror stories from my relative, but I must say my experience working with Shiv was top of the notch. He was very professional and understanding, and most of all he was empathetic."
"As soon as I walked in the building everyone including the security and front desk were polite and efficient. I needed to transfer my daughter from school and they gave me all the help I can get. Melanie was amazing!! She called and was emailing back to back helping me with my concerns and needs. Again, thank you so much for helping my daughter get a fresh start. I highly recommend this place."
"My experience at Sutphin Family Welcome Center was very pleasant. I walked in to the center and was greeted immediately. The wait time to speak with an agent to scheduled an appointment was quick. I was able to speak with Mr.Greeley on the same day who were very knowledgeable about the high school process. I would recommend this location with any of your converns."
"It is so frustrating to have to come to this place in order to enroll my kids into school. The Department of Education has to do better training their workers to make them knowledgeable and people friendly . The man at the front desk is such a lazy and arrogant person who doesn’t let you speak or ask questions. I got here on a Friday at 2:02 pm because their business hours say they close at 3 pm. This man refused to see me because they were “closing soon”. I informed him there was almost an hour left before closing (according to the website) and he directed me to someone else to make an appointment for me the following week. Every question I had, he would not let me respond. I was met with other people there whom he was also giving a hard time to. The experience was horrible. To make matters worse he did not give me the right information. DOE YOU HAVE TO DO BETTER! That worker should be fired. He’s just nasty and rude. Hire someone who can actually be pleasant and helpful."
"I had the best experience at this welcome center. I was in and out the door in 5 minutes. Thank you Anthony B. for your awesome, quick and smooth service in handling the transfer for my son. You’re simply the best! Awesome customer service."
