"This school is probably a good school but it’s actions are so anti parents. They change policies without any notification to parents for example this morning I went to the school and was abruptly told you can’t go in side just drop and go like I was dropping off a package and not my kindergarten child who was already crying not to go to school my son started off loving school then suddenly he is crying not to go to school. now we arrive at school and his normal routine is changed all he hears is “you can’t come just drop and go.” Now he is even more upset PS 160 needs to do better with communicating with parents when the school had the fire they were so indifferent to the children and parents cares and concern they had a strange security hustling kids into building no teachers or recognizable face welcoming kids and parents and informing them of anything. I wonder who really is the principal and dose she really care about our children"
"My siblings and I went here and now my daughter. They treat parents like nobodies which is why ive stopped participating in their events outside of parent teacher conferences. Ive attached an image of a letter given to my daughter after she returned a teddy bear and pen inside a gift bag she got for a total of $20. The items were taken and this was given to my daughter along with SOME of the money she spent at their PTA sale. Ive responded to this letter asking why? As there were no damages on any items but I was met with laughter as if I were a joke. Ive written to the school principal and family coordinator and have yet to get a response. If you can avoid sending your child here, do so. Their exam scores are as low as their respect for concerned parents."
"They may not have Laptops and iPads but, they are doing a very good job with with they have. Parents need to be involved, "all in ", with their child's/children's education."
"Beau first you were in fifth grade and left the year after.I have been there how long ago uh i am in 7th grade now but don't listen to this guy.First this school is not nice, maybe barely clean, and is so not healthy.Second yes most teachers are nice. And i would never want to go back.My school has laptops and ipads.Remember i was there more recently so listen to me.And if an old teacher reads this i am doing great in school and thank you for all your help"
