"As a parent (anonymous) this school is bad. We have kids talking about gangs and threads. These middle schoolers fight and the teacher does nothing but talk even though you can give them suspension. The teachers are okay but the students ruin this place because they wear ski mask and act like they’re from the ghetto. One day these kids will be humbled."
"If you have a child with ADHD or any mental health issues please think twice about placing your child in this school Staff is only there because they have to be not cause they want to be. With my personal experience staff is not there cause they care about the children or are passionate about their jobs. They talk to students not being cautious of what they are saying or how the student would react to what is being told to them. The principal states that "they are not a clinic". One of the school counselors states she can't help my son with his academic issues or progress cause "she's not an English teacher". I feel my son didn't have any support with his struggles in this school."
"This is a bad school please be careful paras threaten students telling them what happens to snitches teachers make kids feel so bad that there pushed into failing when my kids class was changed her grade when from 55 to 90 in one semester my child was also vaccinated with out my consent in this school! This school lies to u n will try n make u act n feel crazy please reconsider bringing ur child to ms 343 especially if there special education looking at this post ms hildalgo is a teacher n her 5 star rating is biased half of these people here who rate 5 star r teachers be careful please all they care about is money!!!!"
"Although this school may be a model school within their district and their academic approach may be on target I would say that some of the staff members aren't that friendly. Some of the staff members I have dealt with haven't been too friendly for the most part. I guess they can be whenever they want to or feel like it or depending on the person they are dealing with - a little prejudice I would say. I already feel like I have to have my defense guard up & my straight face each time I have to go to speak with someone about my child. I have felt undermined and judged in some way; not a good feeling."
