Achievement First Ujima High School is a secondary school located at 600 Central Avenue in New York, United States. Our school is conveniently located near the Chauncey Street station of the J train and the Wilson Avenue station of the L train, as well as the B20, B60, and B26 buses.

Opened in August 2021, Achievement First Ujima High School serves students in grades 9-10 with school hours from 7:55 a.m. to 3:10 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 7:55 a.m. to 12:20 p.m. on Fridays. Our school offers a variety of enrichment programs including aerobics, dance, fashion design, French, music, physical education, and visual arts.

In addition to academics, we also offer a range of extracurricular activities such as basketball, cheerleading, cooking, content creation, dance company, music ensemble, music production, soccer, step, track, and volleyball. Our goal is to ensure that 100% of our students are accepted into four-year colleges and universities.

Nana Effah is the founding principal of Achievement First Ujima High School, bringing a wealth of experience in education and international development. With a strong commitment to providing a meaningful high school experience for our scholars, Nana is dedicated to preparing them to excel in their post-secondary choices and become change-makers in their future careers and lives.
