Reviews of Happy Faces Preschool
"We've had such a great experience at Happy Faces Preschool! The teachers are all so knowledgeable and caring, the space is fun and bright, and it's a wonderful community. Our son has been there since January and grown so much. He looks forward to going to school and often doesn't want to leave when we come get him. I really can't recommend it highly enough."
"Our daughter has been going to Happy Faces for the past 4 months and we could not be happier. The teachers create such a loving and playful atmosphere for the kids. The community of families that attend Happy Faces could not be friendlier. I would highly recommend Happy Faces Preschool!"
"We feel so lucky that our 2 year old son is a Happy Faces student! Not only is the staff extremely warm and caring with him, they are professional and responsive with us parents. I've watched my son start to say full words, develop his social skills, and become more interested in reading since we started him at Happy Faces. They have my highest recommendation!"
"Every morning when I would start putting my shoes on to take my son to Happy Faces, he would start squealing with excitement, run and get his little backpack, and lob it over the safety gate. He loved it. As parents, we always felt the staff was fantastic - responsible, caring, and very professional. Highly recommend."
"Our wonderful director left so did the teachers. Below review is sadly no longer relevant. We are no longer affiliated with the school ------------------------------------------------ I am a Forest Hills mom of a 21 month old baby boy. As worried as I was to send him to a preschool at 20 months seeing as he was very attached to me, in less than 3 short weeks I saw so many positive changes in him!! His attention span improved, his vocabulary started to grow and he began to want to do so many more things independently like feed himself using utensils. But perhaps our biggest turning point for me happened on his 5th day there, instead of tears he gave me a hug and reached for the teacher to pick him up and waved 'bye bye' to me. In the morning as soon as I get him out of a stroller he runs to his classroom and to me that's the most important indicator that he's in the right environment. After one month of him being on a part time schedule I feel confident about transitioning him to a full time schedule. The teachers are amazing and attentive and are so very patient! For my own peace of mind I spend the first few mornings in the office with the school's director who really is the heart beat of this school and is so knowledgeable and helpful, observing my kid on a video camera and I love how teachers get on the kid's level to engage them and know when to give a child extra attention and when to give them a bit of space. The school has been open for only 3 short months so everything is brand new and bright and clean. We got there at just the right time, because as people begin to discover this place spots are starting to fill up fast. I should mention that the school takes kids ages 2 to 5 years old but upon evaluation and observation they can make an exception and take a child as young as 20 months if the child shows signs that he or she is ready and would thrive in such an environment. Not to mention we have a fantastic community of parents there and I am so happy to recommend this place to other parents in our community!"
