"This is my favorite school I've ever been in and I'm happy I got in honors class and that was an improvement because I was first in 6-3. Also the teachers, some are pretty chill and its fun and if it was a specialized high school, I would've worked so hard to get in and I prepare to Stuyvesant high school. Over the summer, I was asked if I wanted to go to either Coney Island prep or Marine Park, and I obviously chose my school and I was stressed out when they first said I had to go but then I convinced them but even if I didn't, they gave me a final choice any ways. Now my top teacher from last year was Ms.Duro. This year it is Mr.Tupper . But for some of the other subject teachers, well, I liked the class better than I liked them no offense!(Not gonna tell who)My class was fun, BUT, the class was horrible in some subjects and ITSELF for example, English, and sometimes Social Studies and science. The other one blames kids on stuff we didn't do and we go off topic which will probably make me like the class more than the teacher :D. Sorry. Anyhoo I had an essay once with I got an 88 and told the teacher I didn't get extra points for typing and I got a 93 which 88 was the grade with extra points its just that it said no extra and when I got the essay it already showed 88 with extra points which means I got an 83 and got extra points but I acted like it was a solid 88 at the start. So basically my grade with the extra points was supposed to be an 88 not 93 and I was unhesitant when I told my teacher and it was verified which therefore means I got 10 added points instead of 5. Another time I couldn't finish an essay because at March 24, at 2017 when I was in 6th grade, I had to get my nose surgery and I was absent for a day of the state exam week because of recovery and at the last exam, I had to get my Doyle splints removed from my nose and I didn't give in the essay and I remember it was marked as a 4. I can get away with homework WAY TO EASILY. Ive done it a lot and I try to be too wise sometimes and I can do it again but one thing I won't do is lie. I didn't say bye to any of my teachers at the last day of 6th grade :c. I haven't said hi my math and English teacher until November and December, which is funny because Ms.Duro my math teacher was my fav. I saw my art teacher from last year in January 2018 which is also sad because she was too nice. I didn't meet my science teacher yet lol."

"Marine Park is one of the worst jhs you can go to. I'm in the eighth grade. And if you have Mrs. Degrotta as your Assistant Principal then get ready for the next three years going on the same boring trip to Aviator and going to see boring plays, but if your lucky you might actually get to see the play. But let me not ruin the whole school for a few bad staff members (like Mrs. Degrotta, Mrs. Garafalo, and others). This school has very fun programs and is very diverse also the work is challenging if you like that sort of thing. But if your in the graduating class of 2018 and you like writing, Mrs. Casey is the teacher to have. And in my opinion I think that Mrs. Casey is the only teacher that really cares about her students and wants them to be successful, unlike the other teachers that wait for their paycheck at the end of the month. And if your teacher tell you "there are 2,481 hours left of school" you need to change your class because that teacher just really don't want to be there if he/she is worried about the future. I really think the only reason I wake up in the morning to go to school is to see my friends."

"Really good school best debate team ever. Have an okay band team. The debate team is the best really good teacher Mrs.Powers. There are other great teachers that teach very well. This school prepares you for the future for when you get older. So go to this school and join the debate team!"

"Awesome school although the first year was not so fun since i didn't know too much people but as time passes you'll love the school. There are excellent enrichment classes/talent classes. The major talent classes are band, drama and the chorus. Then there's the art classes and the computer classes. The band, drama, and the chorus perform every now and then while the art class do some amazing work. You'll make a lot of friends and be upset that you have to leave the school."

"Former student here in the 6th grade, I had an excellent English teacher, Ms. L, who first gave me strict impressions but eventually guided me and other to make significant progress in the subject. There was also Mr. D, my favorite science teacher of all time, used always meet me on my walk home and tell me, "See you tomorrow buddy." He also held a fun class using demonstrations from students which presented his teaching points in a comical way. Lastly, there was Ms. S who taught me many sophisticated math topics before any other advanced math class ever did preparing me with extra knowledge for the next year. In conclusion, a multitude of talented teachers guided me through the school year teaching me a myriad of things I'm glad to know today! P.S. This was the only year I ever aced the state English Language Arts test, so thank you Ms. L!"
