"My child's grade one school year was satisfactory. My child's teacher I appreciated greatly. Very rear did she stay at home and she worked with the kids. I had many unexpected visit to the school she had control of her class and the kids loved and respected her. I value her teaching skills and her ability to maintain her composure with the kids. At the end of the last school year my child had been preapared for the next grade level. As a parent I observe three things the teacher love for profession and kids, the ability to discipline and not lose control of the classroom order and finally the ability to teach transitioning to the next level and the child understand. However My fourth year horrific. For the entire year I struggle to understand the process and materials used to evaluate my child's academic. The school and Education system have to pay very close attention at what goes on in the classroom. Fourth term and no materials for the the third term to show how my child has been evaluated academically for the school year. I am still waiting as of this date for my child's third and fourth term work. At the end fourth grade no moving up ceremony as the school usually does absolutely nothing. No certificates. Also my childs portfolio doesn't reflect the grade on the report absolutely ridiculous in fact the principal never took action to ensure this teacher was actually doing her job. Absolutely unacceptable. This teacher left a terrible taste in my mouth about PS 15. I had some very good days at the school however teacher behavior and the principal failure to reprimand this particular teacher is no good."
"I LOVE this school. I have three girls and refused to let my 6 year old attend a different school b/c the other 2 left. Thumbs up to Jackie Robinson P.S 15!"
"This is one of the best schools I have ever gone to, and trust me I have been to quite a few. While in this school I participated in quite a few extracurricular activities. Which includes Cheerleading, drama, and dance. I was also offered a spot on the basketball team which I declined. While in Cheerleading we participated in many games as well as going to a very high standard competition. While in drama and dance we put on many plays and concerts including the nutcracker. With out little twist we called it the "chocolate nutcracker". Also while at the school I participated in the bell after school program. Which included homework help, tutoring, step team, and also another dance program. I also participated in the bell summer camp. While at the school my teacher was very helpful. I had a 3.5 GPA and graduated with honors even in middle school with the proper knowledge behind me from ps15. I would highly recommend this school"
"My 3rd grade teacher was raped by a student in this school. It does not deserve this high rating what so ever. Not to mention one of my favorite teachers was patted on the fanny and my friend claims to be sexually harrassed by Mr. Watts"
