"Literally the worst place to work with. They have no compassion or care for our children. The less work they have to do the better. I have been going back and fourth since January to get my child assigned to a school where she can be picked up from. I was assigned an elementary school out of our zone and they had no idea. Mrs. Amelia Everett was completely and unwilling to assist me with my request. I will be pulling my child out of these schools and figuring it out. They are quick to call acs on people but won’t help parents whom reach out respectfully and with concerns about there child and where they are placed."
"Calling them, on hold for 2 hours no one ever picks up the phone. Went to their location, I stayed in line for 3 hours just to give a phone number for someone to call me. No one ever called. File complaint with 311. When I email them I got replies (Your message couldn't be delivered to the recipient because you don't have permission to send to it.) Parents need to refuse to pay any taxes because those people get paid for nothing. This got to stop immediately. They are destroying our kids life. Update I went again to the FWC for the third time and I was told someone will call me for sure today (09/24.21) today is 9/28/21 and still no one called me. I can't believe those people are in charge of our kids now I understand why education in NY is so bad. The system is run by uneducated people."
"Parents werent able to contact with receptionist because they wouldnt pick up, or tell you to wait more. Been going all the way to manhattan from Bay Terrace for months, hoping I could move schools already. Our first contact with them was 5 months ago."
