"This is probably one of the best schools I have been too. I spent 3 years there 2014-2017 and it was amazing. I wish this school had a 9th grade so I can spend an extra year. I knew pretty much everybody in this school and had so many friends. I also learned so many life lessons. On top of that, I met Mr. Ercoli and Mr. Colletti who were my favorite teachers of all time. I love everything about I.S. 237."
"During summer. They make you go for 4 days. They won't even let you go out and buy food. They are racist and rude."
"The most terrible school in New York City. DO NOT GO THERE. The teachers are biased and discriminate against their students. They have stupid policies that make no sense and the students are retarded. (All the good reviews are written by staff members themselves). As a former student, I wouldn't recommend anyone to go to this school EVER. If I could give it zero stars I would."
"This school sucks. SP classes are way too pressured. (Too much homework)Never in your widest dreams come here. No privacy in the locker room. People are very violent in the hallways and in gym. This school is hell."
"I love this school, it's a special place. All the teachers know you and will put effort into making sure you understand the lessons. Safety is the most important thing at this school so you never have to worry about that. It's a small school so you won't get lost and it's easier to make friends. True friends that will always be there for you."
