"While the place itself is nice, the principal's leadership leaves much to be desired. Disorganization, poor communication, and disrespectful behavior create a challenging environment for the staff. The lack of clarity in various situations leads to confusion, and the pressure from the principal results in stress rather than support. It's disheartening that the principal seems more focused on personal interests than creating a healthy workplace for teachers, students, and parents. I cannot recommend this place due to the lack of responsible leadership, which has detrimental effects on the well-being of the staff."
"Best daycare ever. Thank you Children House Montessori for cooking home cooked meals, reinforcing mandarin in their daily life, and always responsive and sensitive to the children’s needs and wants. We can’t wait to see what else CHM has in store for the future!"
"I was specifically looking for Montessori daycares for my toddler and came across CHM. My daughter has been enrolled since the beginning of 2021, right as she turned 2. Prior to enrolling, the school was responsive in answering all my questions via email and allowed my family and I to tour the facility. In the first month of attending CHM, my daughter had come to trust and love her teachers and school. The toddler class (age 2-3) will send photo updates via an app throughout the day and a daily log at the end of each day, which gave me peace of mind. You can also always speak to the teacher during pickup for updates. My daughter has been able to pickup so much Mandarin and life skills from CHM. She transitioned to the 3+ Montessori classroom and continues to thrive there. The school also hosts cute potlucks and celebrations during holidays! They have continually been great at addressing any and all concerns I have had over the years. I will be enrolling my son when he turns 2. Highly recommend!"
"Children's House Montessori is a school I respect in many different ways after seeing my son going there for almost a year. 1. Teaching staff with great academic backgrounds and teaching experiences (including bilingual teachers) 2. Clean and big classrooms with a large variety of activity materials 3. Everyday Chinese class (Chinese is the primary language spoken at home for my little one) 4. Big and safe outdoor playground (so my little one can have some fresh air and vitamin D. which is especially important during the global health crisis). There is also a indoor playground. 5. Extra optional curricular activities in school (with additional fees) including painting, taekwondo and soccer classes. (my little one loves to show off his paintings and his taekwondo kicking skills) 6. Everyday activity pictures or notice sent to my cell phone (where I can see my little one learning, dancing, making dumplings and playing with his classmates)"
"My husband and I are so thankful and relieved to have found this Montessori school for our son. He has been at this school for two years now, and the school is consistently doing what's right for children. The teachers are caring, thoughtful, and will often go above and beyond for the students. During pick-ups each day, my son's teacher takes the time to give me a daily progress report, and I can tell there is a genuine care and concern she has with him. Equally important and impressive are the daily lessons and activities in the curriculum; I love seeing my son engaged in STEAM activities and hearing him tell me what he had learned each day. There is nothing more precious than my son, and not being with him for 8 hours can be hard at times, but I know that he is in an environment that is loving, supportive, and encouraging--and that's all a mother can ask for."
